"We had a double room which was pretty much the only choice at the time. What I didn't realise was that this meant we didn't have anything more than a fridge. The motel is older, but full of character which I liked. Some of the staff were great. There is access to tea/coffee/hot water/microwave/toaster from breakfast to lunch, but the time of this seemed to vary which was frustrating. Sometimes it was 7 great! Sometimes 8- which put the whole day out. The location is fabulous with the beach right across the road. The lack of air-conditioning almost killed me in the middle of a heatwave. Access to the BBQs was amazing, but with no access to cutlery or crockery (despite asking) we had to go buy some! So mixed feelings about that. The pool was simply fantastic. A really good size and warm. Plentiful comfy sun loungers around the pool. Wonserful. Again the times it opened varied. We were told strictly 9am one day (so no morning swim before heading out) and yet another day people were in at 8.30. Various chairs and picnic benches around to use, but some seemed to have been 'reserved' (even when not in use) by other guests which was also frustrating when trying to find somewhere shady to sit"

"Overall the resort was perfect for a short stay. We only ate at the resort the first day, we weren’t impressed with the menu, but there are a few local restaurants that were amazing. Which we love to go out and try new places so it wasn’t an issue for us. Other than the restaurants, everything was great. Staff were wonderful, the beach was perfect. That was the main attraction, a private beach. My only suggestion would be to have a broom and dustpan in the rooms. The floors were dirty when we arrived. I can understand since it would be impossible with the sand, but if we had access to a broom it would have helped."
