"From check in to check out Jay was phenomenally hospitable. It was a lovely and safe solo stay with my dog. Breakfast was punctual, the room was comfortable and clean, and my dog had everything she needed. While some things were closed for the season, it was still an enjoyable stay. The comfort room in particular was very relaxing. I would definitely choose this resort for future stays in the Cape and recommend it to others."

"When we arrived there expecting to use the pool, we were told a “someone” pooped in the pool. However, during our time there, there didn’t seem to be anyone trying to clean the pool/fix the issue so it is likely that the hotel lied in order to prevent guests from using the pool. The hotel also appeared to be clean…at first. But there was soap scum on the shower head and I found a bed bug in one of the beds ( which was confirmed by the front desk). "

There are many restaurants a short drive away.The cottage was clean and had most of things needed, you do need to bring your own queen sized sheets, towels, and paper products (there are paper products there, but no replacements). The cottage is very small, especially the bathroom, so be prepared for that."
