"Park is such a lovely and magical place to stay - a truly authentic Irish home. Driving up to the house (after passing through 3 gates) the expanse of the sea comes into view and Park looks right over it - it’s picturesque and perfect and you can hear the sea from every room. The house itself is charming and well maintained - the kitchen is well stocked and functional - the bedrooms and 2 downstairs bathrooms met the needs of our family. The telly was on the blink (we wanted to watch the World Cup) but that just gave us an excuse to nip into one of the many great pubs in town and Park has a great book case containing all the best Irish writers. There’s a few odd cobwebs which is to be expected for a house this old - but overall the house is clean and welcoming - we were blessed with great weather so we had our meals outside.The most brilliant thing about Park is the secluded and private beach which we took full advantage of and we saw seals most days - there’s also some great wildlife surrounding Park.Arklow has some great pubs and restaurants - and are always welcoming and friendly and you can find some of the best and most beautiful hiking trails nearby. Thank you for a great stay !"
Riverfield Bed and Breakfast

"Stayed for one night in the family room with my two children. The room was spacious, even with a double bed and two singles. The en suite was spotless. There were plenty of spare toilet rolls, as well as shower gel and handsoap. The room also had tea and coffee making facilities, a bottle of drinking water, and a lovely touch of a little selection of fudge sweets. There was a safe and hairdryer in the wardrobe. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. It was lovely and quiet throughout the night. No disturbances at all. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice: cereal, fruit yoghurt, homemade brown bread, porridge, local honey, as well as the cooked options of bacon, sausage, egg (any way you like), tomato, mushroom, beans and toast. The fresh coffee was delicious. The staff were excellent. On hand if you needed anything, but also left you to your own devices, which I appreciated. All in all, I would say hotel standard and I will definitely stay again."

"The room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast was amazing. The facility was older but very clean and well-maintained. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was really good. We would love to stay here again!"
