House is in a great location, host/hostess had everything stocked, charged and situated for us. While there we used both general stores and the gas station all very easy and accessible. The house is very close to the pier and park. Small quaint town you can stay in and wanting to go out get to; Port O in 10, Lavaca 18, or Rockport in 40 minutes. Overall a very nice place to visit and don’t wait til your last night to enjoy the screened in porch playing games, making memories while grilling the days catch! So clean. All new appliances including high end washing mach.&dryer. comfortable mattress. Great screened in porch. One large bathroom. Upstairs loft is small but cut and useful. Their are two window units used to cool the house. I saw no big bugs inside or around the house. Only mosquitos but they were bad since they had lots of rain. Not a bad drive to Port O Connor. We fished with a guide named Kim Goulden and took our catch to Josie's mexican restaurant and I highly recommend doing the same if you like to fish and eat fresh fish. The place even had some free snacks on the island, coffee, ice packs in freezer, off spray, 6 water bottles in the clean large fridge. It could not have been any better to us. When we first got to Seadrift, the area experienced a very powerful thunderstorm and the power was out. Zoi was very helpful finding us places to get groceries and dinner in the next town over called Port O'Conner. Thank you Zoi..... Seadrift is located perfectly to experience what Texas coast has to offer. We traveled on day trips to Corpus Christi, Port Aransas, Rockport, Port O'Connorr, Port Lavaca and Victoria. We went fishing in each one with great success and fun at every stop. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.
