When we arrived we initially thought the hotel was empty because it was so quiet and we didn't see anyone until breakfast in the restaurant. Breakfast was beautiful, every morning we woke up excited to go down and eat. The staff at breakfast were so helpful and attentive. They remembered our coffee order each morning and really seemed happy to see us. The reception team were wonderful, so helpful with restaurant bookings and helping us with transfers. I can honestly say the only mistake I made when booking this hotel was not staying longer."

The area's storied past is told through its monuments and historic sites, while the museums provide some cultural flavor.
