The home was built around the terrain, so whether you are relaxing on the deck, making s’mores by the fire pit, or simply standing in the kitchen, expect to be surrounded by scenery. 2.6 miles to the closest boat ramp Seibold and 3.8 miles from waterfront boat ramp.

Beautiful, peaceful home and grounds!

Loved our visit to this place! Especially the covered porches and large deck. The inside made us feel right at home it was so comfortable. Definitely plan to stay again.

Birthday Trip

Rattle Ridge was a perfect place for our group to get together. The view from the house was breathtaking. The location was perfect for venturing out for shopping, great food, and sightseeing. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the Guntersville area.

Early spring fishing!

Located mid lake on the western ridge, this property has a great view of the lake and is close to prime boat launches. Very clean and well decorated and would make a great option for vacation whether fishing or not.

Beautiful Place To Wake Up!

This little house is the best place I have stayed in Guntersville! The view is spectacular and the house is amazing! Couldn't have asked for a better or more relaxing place to stay!

The house had everything you need and had anawesome view. We were here for a wedding and accomadated my family of 6. We had plently of space and didnt have to be cramped in a hotel. If we are every in this way again would stay again!

Great Family Get Away

This is an excellent rental for a family because the master bedroom and bath are separated from the other two bedrooms by a living room. The host does an outstanding job of supplying little extras to make your stay more enjoyable. It is the best VRBO I have rented.

Relaxing location with killer view

Our stay was to visit Unclaimed baggage in Scottsboro along with thrift and antique shops in the area. The place was a little further than we thought (our fault in not paying attention to map info) but we found it as described -love no surprises - and had a magnificent view of sunrise over the water.

Wonderful!

We were looking for a place to relax & fish. This was a great fit. The property was as described, owners were great to work with and just a short drive for lake access. The view was amazing. We would definitely stay there again!

Like staying home

We were so pleased with our stay at Rattler Ridge. This was our first time staying at a vacation home and are so glad we did. The hosts go up and beyond with amenities and made our stay so comfortable, we felt like we were at home. The location to boat ramps was perfect. The views were spectacular. Look forward to visiting Guntersville again and would choose this rental again.

Great house and awesome hosts!!!

This was the most impressive place I have stayed. The hosts have thought of everything and it shows. These owners really go all out to make sure their guest have everything they need for a relaxing stay. The house was super clean and just as described. If I ever get a chance to make it back to lake guntersvulle this will be the only place I book. Thanks again Renee!!

Excellent experience! Great private location, cant say enough about the views from the back deck. Clean and easy going owners. Located just a couple miles from the boat launch to the lake. We will be using them again!

Rattler Ridge

This is a very well kept and nicely appointed property. The bedrooms and bathrooms are quite spacious. I and my guest love to cook and the kitchen was GREAT! The window view over the sink makes dishwashing a pleasure! This is a great place for a family or group of friends to gather and relax and would be perfect for a holiday gathering. Will deinitely stay here again.

Lake Views and Peace and Quiet

This was our second visit to Rattler’s Ridge but I am sure it will not be our last. This home sits high up on a mountain with beautiful views of Guntersville Lake in the distance. It is quiet and so peaceful. It also has everything we need for a pleasant stay. The homeowners do a great job of upkeep and everything is nicely furnished and clean. I have only positive things to say about this property.

Mountain paradise

Owner was great to work with and the house was just as described. They left snacks for us and plenty of coffee for my early morning fishing trips. The view off of the back deck will make you never want to leave. I slept in the master bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. The house is at the end of a long driveway, very secluded and quiet. We had a great stay and would most definitely stay here again.

Motorcycle Trip

Very comfortable, quiet, roomy and on the mountain with a beautiful view. Plenty of room to park two trucks and trailers and motorcycles. Provided many extras in the kitchen which was also fortified with pots, dishes et cetera. Owners quickly responsive when called. Loved it.

Such a Great Place!

The pictures online (which are great) do not do this place justice. The view is breathtaking from almost every room in the house. The back deck/porch is such a nice place to spend time and the whole house is full of thoughtful and practical touches that make the stay even more enjoyable. The bed sheets and especially the linens were very high quality and that speaks volumes for the folks that own this little piece of heaven. The only thing I would recommend to the owners is to oil the hinges on most of the doors as they squeaked and groaned often. The back door onto the deck/porch tried to stick at the bottom corner and often required a light shove from my foot to open it. However, this did not detract AT ALL from how fantastic this property and its location are. My family and me are already planning a trip back at some point next year and we plan to stay at this wonderful place every chance we get.
