The resort is quite old and in some spots pretty rundown. The cleaning team does a great job with what they have. when it comes to the support staff We found a range between some who were kind and helpful and others who seemed as if they were a bit hungover and couldn't be bothered

If you're travelling with kids it will be ideal: there is a soft play, activity room, and pool which are all clean and included. I didn't rate the breakfast, not as good a selection as other hotels and not that tasty. The rooms and communal areas are dated and pretty poor, but fairly clean. The highland hotel has a great veranda which I felt was under utilised by not opening the upstairs bar. For the price I paid it was about right, but it really needs renovating.

Loved everything about the property . Kids had lovely time at the activities park . Did grass sledging, swimming. Kids loved the yellow slide . The breakfast was delicious. The lock of the bathroom door was not working but this was just a minor thing. Apart from that everything was superb . Thanks for making us feel homely and welcome . Lovely place to stay .

Our room was dated but spotlessly clean. Overall the hotel felt tired and lacked atmosphere particularly in the bar and restaurant areas. The awful rusty radiator was particularly off-putting in the bar area. However, the resort is perfectly geared towards a young family with lots of activities and of course the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. We had a great few nights away and our kids loved their time in Aviemore.

Super comfy beds, friendly staff, and the food was good. Great place to stay if you're visiting Aviemore for hiking/outdoor activities, espessially since they have a hot tub, pool and sauna which were great after a long day.
