The kitchen is equipped with electric stove (with oven), dishwasher, microwave, fridge with freezer, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, egg cooker, cutlery and pots and pans, and dishes. For a quick snack, there is a bistro table with two highchairs and a Senseo coffee machine in the kitchen. The living room is equipped with a lighted closet, a 120 cm flat screen with Blue-ray player and radio. On the sitting area with ottoman and armchair and a LED floor lamp you can read a book or make yourself comfortable and enjoy the evening. The living room has a dining area with seating for 4 people. The bedroom has a double bed (180 at \* 200 cm) with adjustable bed bases, and a closet with enough space for clothes and laundry. The bathroom is bright and modern. Towel dryer and underfloor heating ensure pleasant temperatures. The shower is 1m x 1m, the toilet bowl is equipped with an odor extraction and for the male guests is a urinal available. The hall includes a cloakroom, full-length mirrors, umbrellas, shoehorns and a sideboard with various brochures. For their safety, smoke detectors are installed. In the evening, all rooms can be darkened with electric blinds. A telephone is also available, as well as a booklet with all important telephone numbers. The windows of the bedroom and the kitchen are equipped with fly screens. A covered terrace is easily accessible from the kitchen or the living room. A swing on the terrace invites you to linger, or if you like, you can use the grill and enjoy a well-earned holiday with a glass of wine or a bottle of beer. The apartments are located in Schwerinsdorf in the velvet community Hesel. The holiday country Ostfriesland is located in the North German Plain and is ideal for cyclists or for tourists who want to get to know the country and the people. Especially the climatic conditions, the iodine-rich fresh sea air, which reaches far into the Frisian inland, let you breathe deeply. The holiday region Hesel is located in the heart of Ostfriesland, from where you can reach all destinations quickly. In the immediate vicinity are the water park Hasselt (5 miles). the Gallerieholländer windmill in Holtland, the Heseler forest with the deserted monastery Barthe (2 km). The corresponding archaeological exhibition at Villa Popken dates back to the 13th century. Century look. The city of Leer (17 km) offers the miniature country, local history museum, tea museum and much more. Or you can dive into the museum harbor on a harbor cruise and take a photo of the Libra and the town hall from the ship. From the harbor, you are just a few steps in the historic old town of Leer, with the narrow streets and the many old houses, with the house Samson stands out. A popular destination is Papenburg (38 km) with the Von Velen plant or the Meyer shipyard. But also the interesting cities Aurich (20 km) and the seaport city Emden (35 km) can be reached quickly, as well as the park of the gardens at Bad Zwischenahn (29 km). The park could be enjoyed as a day trip by bike through a charming park landscape. In a circle of 50 km are the North Sea coast, the cities of Jever, Wilhelmshaven and Oldenburg with many highlights, such as the marine museum, the aquarium, several museums and castles. Also in our villages with the many churches from the Middle Ages and the historic functioning organs from days long gone worth a visit. There is much, much more. A mudflat walk, a visit to a North Sea island or other events. Just take a look at the Tourist Office at Villa Popken or ask your host. Es wurde an alles gedacht. Sogar für unsere E-Bikes gab es eine gute, abschließbare Unterstellmöglichkeit. Von der Straße an der Vorderseite bekam man in der Wohnung nie was mit, es war dort immer ruhig. Mit Hesel (div. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Imbisse) und Remels (div. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, div. gute Restaurants und Cafes), beides je ca. 5 km entfernt, waren auch hier keine großen Wege nötig. Das umliegende Ostfriesland ist mit Fahrradknotenpunkten übersät, mehrere in FeWo-Nähe, so dass unkomplizierte Fahrradtouren in alle Himmelsrichtungen möglich waren. Bei uns haben es die sehr netten Vermieter sogar mit dem Wetter ganz gut hinbekommen. Es war ein wunderschöner, erholsamer Urlaub. ##### Georg H.
