A smile would be nice
The facility is nice and convenient but the staff leaves you cold. We arrived before 3 PM and was treated with disdain and a “how dare you arrive early attitude”. Anyway came back at 3 to be checked in by someone who seemed to be doing it for the first time. At this time we learned that free local transport was provided with room, which could have been helpful earlier. On checkout was told we hadn’t paid, so had to go into bag to find our receipt.

Staff was horrendous. So rude. I speak German and they still treat me poorly. I can only imagine how they treat others. No air conditioning, tv didn’t work, bathroom made weird noises all night. Would never recommend

Nice staff and big rooms. There was some work being done on the wall behind the toilet but they compensated us with free breakfast every day. Having a store attached to the building was great. Public transportation in the area is difficult and there's not a lot of selection for restaurants within walking distance.

Great place. No elevators 😞. Great food but it is Italian we had just come from Italy. Great stag. Beautiful property. Better check-in directions. Small parking lot but close by and secure. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hotel is very old and needs some work. There is mould on the ceilings in room, there was still food on table on balcony from previous guests, no refrigerator. It’s in a good location and was ok for 1 night. Staff were friendly.

The hotel is conveniently located for visiting all the tourist attractions in the area but the hotel is dated with limited wifi and electric outlets.

Great breakfast but bad pillows
You get what you pay for in a tourist town. this was one of the cheaper options available so as expected the rooms were a little dated. However, things that should not be compromised for any hotel no matter the price were not great. For example the pillows were terrible with no support, and our shower was filled with black mold in the grout. Our other family members bathroom was not as dirty so maybe it was just our room. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great too. The place has potential if they work on the bedding and bathroom cleanliness

The hotel had a connected pizzeria and a small playground for kids outside, so very kid friendly. The view of the mountains was amazing.

Make sure to bring your soap because they have only 2 tiny bottles of shampoo that should be used as a soap.

Staff was very accommodating and polite. I was able to get the rooms that I specifically requested because I told the hotel in advance. They even went the extra mile by ensuring that the rooms I reserved were beside each other and with a good view! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with outstanding service. The hotel is a little older but it’s still clean, comfortable, and cozy. This hotel made my Neuschwanstein experience even more romantic with my girlfriend. I don’t know why the hotel has received bad reviews in the past- just be polite and patient and the staff will treat you like the valued guest that you are. I’ll definitely stay here again and recommend it to all my friends!

Owner/Manager was very unfriendly upon arrival and was no hotel staff were available after 6pm. No WiFi available except in restaurant. Parking was small space behind hotel. Breakfast was limited and staff unfriendly.

Our stay was a story of two half’s. we had the worst welcome of any hotel ever and made to feel we were disturbing mother playing with her child. When we complained there was no Wi-fi she said “that is what we have”. The host on the second day was very nice and helped recover the bad review a little.

Great location bus stop 5 minute walk staff was friendly very clean room. Food was great Italian dinner at nite in restaurant. Very quiet at night comfy beds. Definitely stay there again

Wonderful stay in quiet village. Lovely breakfast in beautiful Bavarian dining room. Room was both comfortable and well equipped. Only things missing were tea making facilities in room and WiFi was out of order during our stay.

Great Hotel near the castles
It's a larger hotel very close to the castles. Clean, modern, very friendly staff. No mini fridge. The only thing we did not like is the overpriced Italian food in the restaurant... no other option, Italian or nothing. We went to the Schloss Brewery about 1km nearby for German food. Would not stay there again.

Pros - Friendly, courteous staff. Very convenient location to restaurants and other places in the area we wanted to visit. Cons - We were told wifi not working, TV and TV Remote did not work, Bed uncomfortable, bathroom sink cracked and toilet dripped. Parking was free but very limited - difficult to find a place to park.

Front desk staff is very helpful, staffs working in restaurant are not so much. There were no wifi for entire two days, wifi signal was there, they just won't give you the passcode.

No wifi connection at all...
We could not connected to free wifi. It seemed the modem or router was broken, but no one knows how to fix. Room was OK but the bath room had a bad smell, and the bath was somehow leaking. Breakfast was good and the hotel has a good location to access to the swanstone castle...

Just what we were looking for.
We came to town for one night and just to go site seeing. The staff was wonderful, kind and helpful. If we are ever lucky enough to come back, we'd love to stay again. The bathroom could use an upgrade but it does the job. Also, free delicious breakfast? Yes please!! If you're looking for a fancy hotel, this is not for you. But if you're wanting quiet quaint and cozy, this is it!

Great location and great room!
We really enjoyed staying here! It is so close to the Castle and the staff was so kind! The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this hotel.
