"The Geesthardenhaus is a type of longhouse, which has its origin in the Jutischen (Danish) space. The house is in all parts transversely developed: living area, transverse plank, Dreschdiele (Loh), stable and Bansenraum (storage room for hay and straw), all under one roof, are accessible from the long side. The entrances make that visible: front door, hall gate, stable door, barn door. " From: IG Baupflege Nordfriesland Schwabstedt is a quiet place, away from the bustling tourism. here the vacationer finds peace, quiet, slowness, and good air ... and in clear nights a hypnotizing starry sky ... basically just what the rest and relaxation seeking person needs, in order to counterbalance the efforts of everyday life put. All facilities of the daily need are in place, so that no long distances are needed to provide adequate care. since this season, the Edeka market in the place also open on Sundays. also the medical care is guaranteed in the place. Those who like to eat well are served well in the restaurant of the hotel treene. For families with small children, the opportunity to spend the day in the river swimming pool on the Treene (about 5 minutes on foot) on calm waters. shallow, harmless shore water for children is also available, as well as extensive, deep water to exercise as a swimmer riot. it is a special experience with a canoe on, or by bike right next to the treene, to explore the river landscape. the landlord can rent a 4-seater canoe or wheels for day trips. walking or cycling can also be done through the geest and the march. in the theodor-storm-city husum it is only 15km on contemplative bike paths through the fantastic north Frisian landscape. You can also hike to the nearby wild moor, a glacial remnant of a unique marshland with special flora, through which an educational trail leads the visitors. In the large living room there is a play, handicraft and painting area in which the guests can work creativ. this is provided with a child protection door, since infants up to three years should move there only under supervision .. in the apartment there are tv with blueray player and suround system, internet connection (lan and wlan), landline telephone and stereo system (standard equipment of a modern furnished apartment). however, if guests prefer to pick up a book or a picture book, they can take what they are interested in in the well-stocked library. In addition, there is a large cd and lp collection. the garden can of course be shared. with a mobile fence element, the garden can be divided even if the guests wanted more private sphere. Familie König sind sehr freundlich, warmherzig, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wir verbrachten bei Ihnen eine schöne und ruhige Zeit. Die Wohnung ist wundervoll kreativ gestaltet und eingerichtet und hat uns viele Ideen für unser eigenes Haus mitgegeben. Wir sind eine kleine Großfamilie mit etwas mehr Temperament. Es war sehr schön zu erfahren das auch ein Urlaub mit vielen Kindern (4) möglich sein kann. Für das Familienherz ist alles vorhanden von Kreativecke für Kinder zum Basteln bis hin zum eigenen ausspannen Ihrer Musiksammlung. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und die Wohnung gemütlich eingerichtet. Es war alles vorhanden, was man benötigt, selbst das Unterstellen unserer Fahrräder und unseres mitgebrachten Anhängers war kein Problem. WLAN war auch vorhanden, was unsere erwachsenen Kinder natürlich gefreut hat. Das Wetter hat leider nicht so ganz mit gespielt, da es aber genug Möglichkeiten der Freizeitgestaltung in der Umgebung gibt, war auch das kein Problem.Fazit: Gerne wieder ! ##### Tatjana M. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung lässt keinerlei Wünsche offen was z.B. die Küche, den Wohnbereich und die sonstigen Räume angeht. Der absolute Clou sind allerdings der separate Bastel- und Spieleraum, die Bücher-, DVD-, CD-, Scallplatten-Sammlung und die Anlage mit Plattenspieler. Hier lässt es sich auch an Tagen mit Schietwetter super gut aushalten.Die KIommunikation mit den Vermietern war sehr freundlich und man ist auf jeden unserer Wünsche prompt eingegangen. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit. Die Wohnung ist gut eingerichtet und besonders auch für Familien mit Kindern (separate Ecke mit Spielen und Bastelsachen) geeignet. Nous n'avons pas eu de soucis de communication avec le gérant malgré notre incapacité à parler allemand. Le village est magnifique et il y a plein de visite à faire au alentour. Wir haben eine angenehme Zeit mit 3 kleineren Kindern verbracht. In der Ferienwohnung war alles vorhanden, was wir brauchten. Besonders gut hat uns der Bastelbereich und die Plattensammlung gefallen. König Sehr tolle, gemütliche Ferienwohnung mit sehr viel Platz. Wir waren über Silvester dort. Trotz schlechtem Wetter kam keine lange Weile auf, weil es in der Wohnung viel zu entdecken gab. Auch für norddeutsches Schietwetter ist alles vorhanden. Die Kinder haben immer spannende Sachen gefunden von Büchern, Gesellschaftsspielen bis Kinderbillard. Bei schönem Wetter kann man die Umgebung mit den vorhandenen Rädern oder dem Kanu erkunden. Die Küste und malerische Städtchen sind auch nicht weit. Kinder und Hunde sind willkommen. Schwabstedt ist ein schönes Örtchen. Wir hatten tagsüber sehr viel Spaß im Flußfreibad und haben uns abends im Haus oder Garten gut erholt. Familie König bewohnt die restlichen Teil des großen Gebäudes und steht daher stets mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung. In Laufweite befinden sich ein Bäcker und ein Lebensmittelladen, außerdem findet man Apotheke, Bank, Arzt, etwas Gastronomie (im Umfeld der Treenebrücke) am Ort. Die Wohnung in der ersten Etage erreicht man über einen separaten Eingang, hiervor Zugang zum Gartenteil mit Gartenmöbeln, Grill, Feuerschale etc. sowie Stellplatz für ein Auto. Die Küche ist sehr vollständig (Kräuter, Öle, Kafee, Tee, viele Küchengeräte) und modern ausgestattet, ebenso das Wohnzimmer mit Büchern, DVDs, Cds, Vinyl sowie einer Kreativecke zum Malen, Basteln, Arbeiten etc. Stabiles und schnelles Internet! Großer Esstisch mit Stühlen und Sofa in der Wohnküche, gemütliche Sofas im Wohnraum. Durch Balken und Dachschrägen ist die Wohnung sehr "hyggelig". Die Schlafzimmer sind geräumig und komfortabel, die Zimmertüren haben zur Beleuchtung der Diele Glasscheiben (mit Jalousie). Das Bad ist funktional und groß, jedoch mit älterer Keramik ausgestattet.
