A very well equipped kitchen (fridge / freezer, microwave, stove, ceramic hob), a shower bath renovated in 2014 and a cozy living room with WiFi, flat screen TV and hi-fi system invite you warmly. The cathedral school, the loop and the cathedral of Schleswig can be seen from the sunny balcony. The Königswiesen city park is right outside the door. Thanks to the apartment's very central location, the charming city center of Schleswig with a variety of shops can be explored by a short walk (around 300m). A parking space belongs to the apartment, which is at your disposal. Give your car a rest in the courtyard of the house and explore Schleswig on foot. A branch of the city bakery Hagge is just around the corner (150m). Ideal to get bread in the morning within 5 minutes (also open on Sundays). The Silesian harbor invites you to relax in the evening. Just like the usual sights, this can be reached on foot within a short walk of around 15 minutes. If you arrive with bicycles to do some bike tours around the loop, there is a lockable basement room for storing your bicycles in the house. You also have the possibility to rent bicycles or e-bikes in Schleswig. The apartment is in a quiet apartment building with 6 residential units and is located on the 2nd Floor. The separate kitchen was well stocked with cookware and basics. The bedroom has lots of storage space and a nice large bed. You can enjoy a hot shower in a large and elegant bathroom. There plenty of shops along the pedestrian walkway a few minutes away as well as 2 grocery stores (Netto and BIO) where you can get anything you need. There is a beautiful promenade along the Schlei which leads toward the Schloss Gottort. If you want to walk further(5 kms) to the Viking Museum in Haithabu, there is a walking trail that continues further but there is a bicycle rental on Bismark Strasse not far away. Also on the harbour promenade and a couple of minutes away in the other direction, are some nice bars and restaurants where you can watch the boats come in and out of the harbour and people watch. We spent 4 enjoyable days here and wished we would have booked a couple more as there is so much to see and do. We would stay here again! ##### Ilona and Glen R. Es war unser erster Besuch in Schleswig. Die Stadt und die Umgebung rund um die Schlei sind auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert. Es gibt in Schleswig eine nette Fußgängerzone, das sehenswerte Schloss Gottorf und sehr gemütliche Lokale am Stadthafen. Besonders sehenswert ist die alte Fischersiedlung "Holm"! In der Umgebung der Stadt haben wir viele wunderbare Radwege vorgefunden. - Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Die Zentrale Lage hat viele Vorteile, vielleicht den kleinen Nachteil, dass sie an einer Hauptstraße liegt. Aber sie bietet einen geschützten Stellplatz für das Auto und einen abschließbaren Kellerraum für Fahrräder. Es ist alles da, inkl. Verbrauchsmaterial in der Küche, um einen angenehmen Urlaub zu verbringen und sich wohl zu fühlen. Das Vermieterehepaar ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Uns hat die zentrale Lage der Wohnung gut gefallen, dafür haben wir die etwas laute Straße gerne in Kauf genommen, zumal das Schlafzimmer zum Hof liegt. Die Schlei und die Königswiesen sind in 5 Minuten zu erreichen, in 2 Minuten ein guter Bäcker, die Fußgängerzone, die interessante Altstadt und das Schloß Gottorf sind ebenfalls zu Fuß schnell erreichbar. Prima ist auch der Parkplatz im Hof, denn von Schleswig aus kann man nicht nur entlang der Schlei fahren, sondern man kommt schnell zur Nordsee, zur Ostsee oder nach Flensburg. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war immer sehr nett. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung entspricht der Beschreibung und den Bildern im Angebot. Es war an Ausstattung alles vorhanden was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Ausstattung ist großzügig, auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt geeignet. Für Unternehmungen rund um Schleswig gibt es zahlreiche, aktuelle Broschüren. Bäckerei und Gastronomie sind in der Nähe, Parkplätze gibt es im Hof. Das Schlafzimmer hat eine ruhige Lage. ##### Fritz W. Sie liegt sehr zentral und man ist gleich in der Fußgängerzone bzw. am Wasser. Der eigene Parkplatz ergänzt das Ganze zu einem super Gesamzpaket. Es fehlt nichts. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Die Wohnung liegt ideal für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Das Auto kann man problemlos im Hinterhof abstellen. Obwohl die Wohnung an einer Hauptstraße gelegen, so hört man fast nichts, das Schlafzimmer befindet sich auf der Rückseite zum Hinterhof. Haben hier eine schöne Woche verbracht. ##### Gerd M. Es ist alles vorhanden, um sich wohl zu fühlen. Da wir im Winter um den Jahreswechsel dort waren, haben wir den Balkon nicht benutzt. Hier könnte es eventuell etwas lauter sein, da die Wohnung direkt an einer Hauptstraße liegt. Das wiederum aber hat den großen Vorteil, dass man ganz schnell in der Altstadt ist bzw. an der Schlei. In unseren Augen eine super Lage, um Schleswig zu erkunden. Für einen sicheren Parkplatz ist durch den Platz im Innenhof gesorgt. Fazit: Alles sehr gut ##### Heidi B. R. 9 Nov 2018 #### Zentral gelegene helle und gut ausgestattete gepflegte Wohnung Die Wohnung ist geräumig, gepflegt, sauber und nett eingerichtet. Alles Notwendige ist vorhanden, auch Grundnahrungsmittel wie Öl, Gewürze, Kaffee / Tee für die ersten Stunden. Mehrere Flaschen Mineralwasser standen bereit. Es gibt einen Parkplatz hinter dem Haus. Trotz der vielbefahrenen Straße vor der Tür ist es in der Wohnung ruhig. Auch innerhalb des Hauses war nicht viel von den Nachbarn zu hören. Den Balkon zur Straße würde ich nicht unbedingt nutzen wollen und die Küche dürfte ein wenig komfortabler zum Frühstücken eingerichtet sein. Geschäfte, Restaurants, Wasser und Schloss sind schnell fußläufig erreichbar. Insgesamt eine positive Überraschung und erfreuliche Erfahrung, die zur Wiederholung einlädt.
