Schade das Schleswig ansich, wie viele Städte, immer unattraktiver wird durch den hohen Leerstand an Geschäften. I choose bed & kitchen because it was close to the main train-station and close to the state archive where I was conducting my research for my dissertation. Overall the experience was great, they were accommodating, friendly, and the place was incredibly clean. The ability to cook your own food and the location closeness to multiple grocery stores is an efficient way of saving money for a long-term stay. It is also only a 30-minute walk downtown or to the Viking Museum and I would recommend the hostel to anyone travelling to Schleswig either short or long-term.
