This home is within easy walking distance to all that Savannah has to offer, but off the beaten path for a quiet and relaxing stay. Traveler’s Escape offers all the comforts of home in the Hostess City of the South. A tasteful replica of a federal style home, you’ll find artwork throughout the home by well-known contemporary Savannah artists amidst a mix of tradition and modern furnishings. The living room has a Queen sleeper-sofa and plenty of comfortable seating. There is also a working gas fireplace, flat screen TV with Blu-ray player, and a breakfast table with seating. The recently remodeled galley kitchen has everything you need to enjoy a meal at home, or just a cup of coffee. At the end of the day, you’ll curl up in the king-sized bed with pillow-top mattress and drift off to sleep to prepare for your next adventure. Enjoy the lovely courtyard to unwind at the end of a long day. Please keep in mind that this is a smoke-free property and smoking is not permitted in the apartment or the courtyard. What is parking like for this home? Parking for this home is on-street and metered, with enforcement by the City of Savannah Monday through Saturday, 8am to 8pm. Guests may conveniently pay using the ParkSavannah app, feed the meter or parking kiosks directly, or utilize a nearby public parking garage. The patio area is very nice for sitting out. Parking on the street is easy with plenty of spots. Slightly off the beaten path but I liked that, a little more quite. Everything was so organized and detailed leading up to our stay. When we arrived, it was better than we expected. So clean. Very welcoming.
