We had a very good experience at The Green Palm Inn. They communicated well in advance and everything was just as described. Nicole prepares a nice breakfast and is so kind and helpful. Parking was not a problem for us but they are limited.
The Green Palm Inn had spacious beautiful decorated bedroom with a large four posted bed. I loved the check-in process of being sent a code and checking in at your own leisure. It’s close enough to walk everywhere needed downtown and parking was easy.
Nicole, the only staff member, was wonderful. A very sweet woman who served a great breakfast and made up the room perfectly.. The bed was very comfortable.
However, there was no one else there to offer advice or tips about being in Savannah. It was our first time and we could have used someone there. Other guest houses for that price have a concierge.
The bathroom definitely needs an update – – the sink did not drain well nor did the toilet flush properly. And the shower was from the 19th century(😜) The lighting was poor.
My husband and I have traveled a lot and have roughed it over the years without problem. So, it was OK.
But, All in all “this old house” in general needs an upgrade .. certainly for the price..
The location was great, however, and we loved Savannah!!!
The room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were amazing! It was such a pleasure to stay in a historic home. We were in a very quiet area and walking to the river district or other areas of the historic district was easy and close. Private parking was a plus and great. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will certainly be back.
We had a wonderful stay. Great location and property was very enjoyable. The breakfast were wonderful and lovingly prepared by Nicole who was a sweetheart. Rooms were freshened on a daily basis. Thanks so much!
Stayed at the Green Palm Inn this weekend and loved our stay. Homemade cookies and glasses of wine is complementary in the afternoon. The breakfast was amazing! Nicole was a delight. She took care of my dietary restrictions-no beef or pork, no carbs or sugar and was able to create 3 different delicious breakfasts on the 3 days that we stayed. Don’t let her go!!!
Solo professional female in Savannah for warmth, books, and exploration. I loved this beautiful, comfortable inn. The hosts were so nice, breakfast was delicious, and anything I could need for my stay was here with impressive attention to detail. I wanted to experience Savannah, and this was a great "home away from home" base to do it in easy walking distance of what I wanted to explore.
This was our first trip to Savannah, so we wanted to be in a good location for getting around. We walked almost everywhere- restaurants and fun shops. The Green Palm was perfect for our needs. The room was very nice- clean and comfortable. Nicole is the "face of the place" with a welcoming smile and is lovely to talk to. She makes amazing breakfasts that carry you through to dinner!!! We'll be visting again and will absolutely be staying at the Green Palm.

We had a great time at The Green Palm Inn! Nicole was a great hostess and cook and fed us a delicious breakfast each morning before we began our day exploring beautiful Savannah. The room was spacious and clean and we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this inn to anyone and we will definitely be back!
The Green Palm Inn is a charming bed & breakfast in a great location. It’s on a quiet street just a short walk from all the main attractions of Savannah. Alex was a wonderful host, we ran into a couple of problems during our stay (none of which were the fault of the Inn), and he went out of his way to accommodate and assist. Nicole was a joy who made our stay very comfortable, and her breakfast & homemade cookies were delicious!
Property very conveniently located in Savannah, limited free parking! Breakfast was delicious and great way to start the day! Easy self check in, room was great!
I loved the old house, our room was very comfortable and everything was within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again

This is a very nice B&B in a historic building. They have an easy self check in. The room is clean, spacious and quiet. But the best thing is the staff. Nicole serves a delicious breakfast and will answer any questions you have about Savannah. That is what makes staying there something special.
