Cool Designer Cottage on Jones w/ Courtyard & Parking by Lucky Savannah

Located in the beautiful Historic District on East Jones Street, you’ll enjoy the quintessential cobblestones and century-old oak trees that spurred Southern Living Magazine to name it the “America’s prettiest street.” With décor provided by 24e., Savannah's finest design and furnishings store, there is a lot of personality packed into this two-bedroom, one-bath house.

Decorative twin fireplaces, common in the historic railroad cottages on East Jones Street, flank the couch, a perfect blend of history and modern luxury. Original wood flooring and barn-style doors give the space a rich, unforgettable character. Connected to the master bedroom is a small study with seating and a desk, perfect for the digital nomad. Guests love the slate floors in the light filled kitchen, which has access to your private courtyard.

You’ll find a full-sized washer and dryer in the short, central hallway leading to the bedrooms.
The primary suite features a cozy queen-size bed with tufted headboard and a flat screen TV, while the second bedroom has two twin-size beds. The full bathroom has plenty of space and light to get ready for a night on the town!

Perfect Spot to Stay in Historic Savannah

We had an AMAZING stay! This property was perfectly located on one of the most beautiful streets of Historic Savannah - with easy walking distance to everything we did during our 4 night/ 5 day Mother/Daughters weekend celebrating my sister's 50th birthday. The quiet, shaded garden in the back was the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee and evening wine after exploring all day. We found the amenities comfortable and the property management team very easy to communicate with. They shared great ideas for places to eat and offer late check out (if available) - which worked perfectly for us. Would highly recommend.

A Perfect Historic Retreat on Savannah's Prettiest Street!Our stay at the charming cottage on Jones Street was absolutely perfect, exceeding all expectations. Jones Street truly lives up to its reputation as one of the most beautiful streets in America—it felt like stepping back in time every morning as we walked beneath the massive live oaks draped in Spanish moss.The home itself struck the ideal balance between historic charm and modern comfort. We loved the original hardwoods and the beautiful, secluded private courtyard. Having this quiet retreat right in the heart of the Historic District was invaluable after a day of exploring.The location provided an incredible base for exploring the city's rich history. Savannah's preserved architecture, famously untouched by General Sherman's March, is astonishing. Our favorite excursions were deep dives into the past, especially the visits we made to the historical cemeteries. Strolling through the weathered stones of Colonial Park Cemetery allowed us to feel the city's earliest colonial roots, while our trip to the grand, picturesque Bonaventure Cemetery was a breathtaking look at Victorian-era monuments and the haunting beauty of the lowcountry landscape.We truly appreciated that the house allowed us to live within that history rather than just observing it from a hotel. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an authentic and deeply atmospheric Savannah experience.

Adorable Courtyard

Great outdoor space to enjoy your morning. SO many birds and squirrels and we even had a mama cat hanging around. Uber picks up super fast at this location. Walking is an option as its very close to everything but if you have ones in your group need a ride - great location. Home had clean linens, towels, extra blankets/pillows, and even travel toiletries. Ice was also ready to go - a personal favorite of mine.

Pictures do not do the property justice!

Our first night there we found that the heat. Wasn't working. We called and they had a technician out within a half hour and he changed.out the thermostat fixing the problem The house was well appointed, comfy chair and couch in the living room. Beds very comfortable. House was immaculate. Courtyard for dogs was much nicer than pictured with shrubs, etc. Would stay again! aand couchand couch in

Good location

Location was perfect. Quiet neighborhood. House was very cute. In fair shape for the age of the home. Everything was described exactly as listed. We had an issue with the A/C. Didn’t work the first day. Called maintenance on day 2. The unit was frozen. They brought us a portable unit and had someone come out to service the system at 6pm but it still wasn’t cooling. The portable unit got us through the night. However we were extremely hot for 2 days.

Easy to walk downtown and cute

Cute and clean home, comfy beds and everything you need. Only complaint would be a lamp you can turn off and on by the master bed would have been nice. The lighting by the bed has a switch across the room so you have to get up to turn it off and while the fan light has a remote, the bright light isn’t ideal for winding down and reading. Other than that the place was perfect.

The facility appeared much larger than the 800 square feet. We enjoyed using the private courtyard for a late afternoon adult snack. The kitchen has all the tools needed to prepare a light meal. Bed linens and towels are of high quality. We used the alley parking and front street parking. Really enjoyed the house which was built in early 1900's. Definitely would go back.

Convenient location, needs better management

This is a small but interestingly decorated unit. It’s generally comfortable although the couch in the living area has probably seen better days. The location is fantastic. A short walk to downtown, river walk, shopping, excellent restaurants and the city’s many parks. The back yard is small but good for a dog or a quiet evening. However we were there during mosquito season and could not spend any time outside. Our main complaint is that upon arrival many of the dishes were dirty as well as the cabinets where they were stored. We notified the management company (Lucky Savanah) and got an email response apologizing and promising to take immediate action. They did nothing and we never heard from them again.

The beds are comfortable, plenty of seating in the living room and a good sized table for dining in. The kitchen is well stockrd with dishes and pans, but could use better lighting and more work space for cooking as well as a few cereal/soup bowls and some cleaning products.. The bathroom is adequate, but needs some plumbing updates - the sink clogs easily and tub faucet runs slow. the private garden is delightful and parking is so easy! We had a lovely time, we appreciated being able to walk downtown each day. Lucky Savannah responded to our TV questions quickly and we'll probably be back next year!

The house had some charm, too. My main complaints were that no one policed the yard before we arrived, and it was full of dog feces. We had to clean it up before our dogs could go out. Not my favorite way to start a vacation.Also, the kitchen lacked basics like a can opener and a corkscrew, and the chairs were so uncomfortable, we had to put towels on them to use them. The kitchen also was so tiny that we had to run the dishwasher every day because there was no place to dry dishes or prep a meal. Kitchen deficiencies, of course, might be a non issue for those who plan to eat out every night.

The cottage was beautiful and in a wonderful location. Well maintained, decorated lovely. Beds were comfy. We enjoyed it very much. I completely understand it’s August in Savannah, but could something be done to treat mosquitos in the back courtyard area? There were so many! I would stay here and would recommend to friends. Thank you!
