Quiet, tasteful decorated, incredibly friendly staff. With all the charm of a grand old Savannah house and all the comfort of staying with family where you can help yourself to the coffee and tea in the kitchen. It doesn’t have a bar or a pool. There is no scene. It’s the perfect hideaway. The only reason I didn’t rate it higher was due to a leaky air conditioner in our bathroom which could not get fixed over the weekend. It was very comfortable and cozy. A/C and fan kept the room a great temperature. Curtains kept the room dark for my husband - who likes to sleep in. There was a lovely little outdoor sitting space right off the room overlooking the courtyard and a great front porch to sit on with tea in the morning. Perfect small full bathroom. Our room was right at the top of the stairs and I worried about hearing others pass by - we didn't hear a thing. The very friendly staff asked for any special needs/requests twice prior to arrival and confirmed our requests when we arrived. Easy parking. Great breakfast - they were very prepared to deal with a variety of diets. We also appreciated that the staff showed us where we could get ice/tea/coffee for ourselves after regular business hours.
