Unfortunately we had a lot of rain although it was warm so nowhere to sit outside was a sleight problem, and we found the sitting inside very uncomfortable and again not really for a family. The house was in an ideal location and in some amazing countryside"

"Large typically French property that can easily accommodate 8-10 people. Villa in beautiful surroundings with different areas in which to chill. Best booked if you don’t want to travel far, though driving was very easy and enjoyable on mainly quiet roads. Within easy reach of the larger villages. Down-sides: no facilities in the village so prepare by shopping before arriving, and the pool is not within the grounds but a 10-15 minutes walk away (I think the write-up is misleading). Overall, we had a great stay with the hosts being very helpful, within the limits of our little-speaking-French group, but we managed OK. "
