Mother in law style apartment attached to larger 1800s Saugerties village home, with its own separate entrance. It is less than one block from the center of town, and walkable to various bars, restaurants, galleries, etc. It has all of the necessities for a comfortable stay in this Hudson Valley town.

Note: this unit is not recommended for people who have difficulty with stairs because there is a steep twisting stairway.

Bard Family and Friends weekend stay
Host was flexible and communicative. Not sure Google Maps has the address right but we found it through trial and error. Parking and check-in was easy and the kitchen was cute and well stocked - it even had espresso, a Moka pot and a couple of travel mugs. The beds were super comfortable and had fluffy duvets, soft blankets and plenty of pillows. Big plusses!! The only thing I would stay is that it wasn't super warm but there were space heaters and these kept us cozy in the main living spaces.
Stayed 2 nights in Oct 2023
