The location was great and very easy to find the building once you enter this town. I had to spend some time to figure out the parking spot and the entrance as a new visitor in this town through the back of the building. All detail was prepared thoughtfully and the unit was very clean. We had a good stay in this unit.
Loved our experience. Apartment was in a great location. Very clean. Neighborhood was quiet. The gated parking lot was a bonus. Owner was very quick to respond. Will definitely try to book again for next year
Overall a nice place to stay in the middle of Saugerties. Easy to walk to coffee, breakfast, dinner. Enjoyed seeing Falling Waters, the Lighthouse, Opus 40, and kicking back at the Partition. Owner was very easy to communicate with. Bathroom space tight.
We appreciated a number of things about the apartment: its location, covered parking, short walk to restaurants, neat and clean with plenty of towels, kitchen goods, etc. Our one suggestion is a small table with a couple of chairs for dining purposes. However, all in all it was a great place to rest from daily hikes to Huckleberry Point, Kaaterskill Falls, and the Saugerties Lighthouse!

Great apartment in the village of Saugerties. Location is ideal and the unit is great for a couple. It was a little rough and ready on the stairs to enter and the bathroom is very small. Would caution anyone who is super tall or who has difficulty with stairs. The den area overlooks Partition St and the location is ideal for walking to restaurants, bars and shopping as well as local site. I would definitely recommend.
Says it sleeps 3, but the couch is not a pull out and there is no extra bedding/sheets. 3 towels, one washcloth, 1 hand towel for 3 people for 3 nights. It was in the 30’s every night and we had no heat until after midnight on our last night. Kitchen had broken drawer, no bottle opener, no spatula, no wine opener.
Street noise is very loud, as is the train that goes by several times at night.
You can walk to restaurants and shopping, that’s the best thing about this VRBO. Owner doesn’t live there and can’t fix anything.
It was difficult to find the entrance. The lock system on the door did not work. The host helped us to trouble shoot but it was a nerve wracking 20 minutes. The space is large and was comfortable for the two of us. The shower pressure was excellent. We like to cook when we stay in spaces but the kitchen was not equipped with utensils or necessary tools to do so.

Inside of appartment was nice, clean and maintained. Outside of rear entrance was overgrown and unkept. Entry door not marked clearly. Great location for dinning and walking around village. Over all, served what we needed but needs to clean up outside.
This place is amazing, so many places to walk to and see.

Served its purpose but…
So the photos looked nice, but the apartment is as stripped down and basic as possible. It says ‘sleeps three’ but the sofa isn’t a pull out and there are no extra pillows or sheets. One hand towel, one face cloth, hardly any dishes and no table to sit at. The bathroom was awkward and small, but a decent shower. Overall it was pretty clean. The property itself is overgrown and icky. If budget is a concern, you could do worse. Location close to downtown is the best feature.
Having my own parking spot was a big plus* The outside getting to the suite is unattractive and was very disappointing. Pass code to enter, super easy but the slight scent of weed going up the stairs was a bit of a dud. Once inside the suite, I absolutely loved it. It reminded me of my first apartment. I had a good laugh about that. I also thoroughly enjoyed the view unto the main drag. Suite is perfectly situated and you really can’t go wrong. Many cool places to eat and easy to walk to. The architecture of the buildings gives it a feel of being on a movie set. I had the best of both worlds dipping in and out of the mountains and heading back to my suite.
The location of the apartment was good in that it was in the middle of Saugerties Village. The apartment itself was very clean, and the locks worked well, which helped us feel secure. The bathroom layout is a bit cramped—the toilet is very close to the sink—so we were glad to be flexible (and thin!) enough to maneuver comfortably. The WiFi was spotty, and it was difficult to keep Roku connected, though that wasn’t a major issue for us since we didn’t plan to watch much TV.The exterior of the property was more concerning. Contrary to the listing, there was no white plastic fence enclosing the backyard. Instead, we noticed caution tape in some areas, broken glass, crumbling tar, and overgrown weeds.Additionally, my sister’s larger SUV couldn’t fit under the white awning parking area, which was inconvenient.

There is the good and not so good. I’ll start with good. The owner was very helpful in solving a booking problem I had that was my own error. The owner was prompt in answering questions and direct with a solution. The property is located on one of the main streets and there are restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Additional dining options are close by. I was concerned about street noise, but from the bedroom with the door closed I couldn’t hear any or the band that played on Friday and Saturday night at the pub down the street. If you’re a HITS horse show person, its a seven minute drive. So for the not so great. Arriving to the property is pretty sketchy. The entrance is down a sketchy ally. The white plastic fence that surrounds the backyard is just a single panel. The backyard is overgrown with tall weeds and is strewn with debris. Once you find the door, the stairwell is poorly maintained, unpainted, with exposed wall patching. The apartment is fine, but I would not say you could “sleep three”. The sofa does not pull out and would be uncomfortable to sleep on. There are appliances and pots/pans (which have a greasy feel). But there is no table or desk to sit at, so you’re kind of stuck for eating. The bathroom was clean. The toilet location is funny…see the picture.I was alone, it was fine. If this was for my family, I would pass. If it was my adult daughter alone, nope. Clean up the entrance/"yard" and put a table and chairs, and I would have said four stars.
Such a cute place in a perfect location! There are restaurants and shops steps from the door. The only negative was that the mattress was pretty uncomfortable. I think a mattress top would help!
