Step right outside and you are downtown Saugatuck with everything it has to offer. This a adorable apartment is a one bedroom with a queen bed. The living room has a smart TV with Hulu Live available to catch all sporting events or 100's of movies. Step out back to your private garden sitting area to relax or head out the front door to all the action of town. This apartment has an efficiency kitchen and does not have a stove/oven but does have a refrigerator and microwave. This unit is equipped with a mini split heater and AC unit. Parking is available in any legal parking spot on the street. Private parking is not available. By renting this cottage the below is agreeing to the following terms: (RULES ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED) 1.) All of our rentals are non-smoking. 2.) You and your guests are using our home at your own risk. We nor the owner of the property will be held responsible for any injuries that occur at the vacation rental or for any lost or stolen items. 3.) Parking is available in any legal parking spot on the street. Private parking is not available. 4.) Do not move the furniture. 5.) Each cottage has a maximum number of guests that is listed on this contract you must verify that it is correct. That number is not to be exceeded - this includes children and adults. For fire safety, we are required to limit the number in each home. If additional people are found to be staying at the cottage the entire group will be asked to vacate with no refund. Inflatable mattresses or alternative sleeping other than pack n plays or cribs are not allowed. Tents are also not allowed on the property. 6.) Pets are not permitted. If a pet is on the property then there will be a $1500 fee and it will be required that the owner board the pet immediately. 7.) Damages are to be reported during your stay. If we find damage after you vacate, you authorize the charge to your credit card for replacement or repair or provide another credit card number, pay by cash or check. Damages reported upon arrival will not be guests' responsibility. 8.) Cleaners will come to the cottage after you have departed - they will not visit to clean, change linens, or replace towels during your stay. Please contact the office should you need assistance during your stay regarding any cleaning items. 9.) Quiet time is after 10pm nightly. We do not tolerate loud groups and college like parties anytime of the day or night. Drinking games are not allowed on the property. Neighbors must NOT hear you inside or outside the cottage after 10pm. 10.) You are at least 25 years old and will be able to verify with valid identification during your stay if needed. 11.) Weddings and formal events are NOT permitted on our properties, if there is found to be a formal event on the property the entire group will be asked to vacate the property with a no refund. It is acceptable to have a visitors during the day hours but that number can not be more than 1.5 times the maximum occupancy of the cottage. 12.) Fireworks are prohibited on the property at all times. 13.) Please note to read the street signs in the winter months as you must park on certain sides of the street on certain days for the snow plows. \*Disclosure: There may be cameras with sound at outside entrances of cottages ONLY. These rules are strictly enforced due to NEW city and township ordinances. This contract is the only warning you will get. If any rules are not followed all local fines, security deposits and any other charges will be charged to guest and the entire group will be asked to vacate the property. Other reviews mentioned the noise from the bands at the local bar, which is true. However, the band did not play late (I believe finished slightly after 11) and it was nothing that a sleep noise machine couldn’t handle. This location is ideal for a couple that plans to spend most of their time shopping and bar hopping. Also, eat at Phil’s. The place was clean which was great. The only real complaints we had was that A. We had trouble getting the A/C to run one night and had to turn it on and off until 1 am until it finally worked. The blue light on the A/C unit also shines very brightly in your face while trying to sleep. B. We found it interesting that the listing made it very clear that there were city ordinances about needing to be quiet at night, yet Wally's played very loud music until at least 11 pm every night we were there. We were out in the sun and walking all day so we were tired by 10 pm so this was a bit of an annoyance, especially given city ordinances.Additionally, this is the only rental I've ever stayed in that has asked that we strip the bedding, put it in bags, and take the trash out. Not the end of the world, but I was afraid to forget to do it while we were packing up to leave since it's something I've never had to do. ##### Maisie H. However, we came in the fall...Walked in with absolutely no heat on in the unit. Space heater was our only source of heat and took a day to get it warm. The second night was ok. If guests are staying and the radiator heat is not working then you make sure someone goes there and turns the space heater on so guests come in feeling warm and then they can adjust from there. Cleaning fee included but owner has a list of chores that include stripping the bed, putting all laundry in a bag, cleaning dishes by hand, and taking out trash. If you charge a fee then you should not be having folks jump through hoops. Also upstairs people were walking around all hours and the bar next door is open later(didn't really care about that but information to folks that care). It served well enough for a short stay but won't be back. ##### Nicole E. The property was clean and things like the kitchenette and bathroom were fine. What was not fine and not accurate was the streaming TV. We logged into our apps but the Wi-Fi was not capable of streaming. TV would work for about s as minute and then lose internet connectivity. The biggest problem with this rental was the complete failure of a bed for comfort. I am not referring to a “this bed is to firm or soft” issue. When you lay on this bed, you and your spouse will roll to the giant divot in the middle of the bed. You claim to be a Premier host. You and your spouse should try to sleep on this bed. This bed did not just spontaneously fail just before we arrived. If your response to this review is anything but “we are so sorry and yes we tested the bed and you are correct. We are replacing the mattress before our next rental”, then you should no longer be a host. ##### Gary C.
