Perfect fall getaway!

My girlfriend and I spent the weekend at this cozy, lovely property, walking distance from all the cafés, shops and restaurants in Saugatuck Michigan. The home was clean, well stocked comfortable, and the host was helpful with any questions we had. Highly recommend this home. Excellent location. And overall lovely

Beautiful upgrades to lovely old home

Great space for family and friends. 4th bedroom and bath are actually a separate cottage in the backyard. It doesn't have the same upgrades as the main house and has some plumbing issues.

Convenient Location, Good Layout for families

Our group of 7 (4 adult parties) stayed here. The layout was convenient for small group gatherings (kitchen, family room). The kitchen was nicely stocked with all necessary cooking utensils and cookware, as well as glassware, flatware, and dinnerware. Basic spices and foodstuffs were available too. The climate control was good for the weather (warm, not hot) and easy to use. The carriage house bedroom/bath were perfect for privacy. Location to shops/dining was terrific...an easy 5-min walk. Neighborhood was quiet. We would all stay here again on a return trip to Saugatuck.

House cleanliness

This house needs a good deep cleaning. Things such as food and dirty linen where under the beds. Also the sun room had tons of dead flies present.

Spacious home in a great location

Spacious home with nice amenities. Loved the two screened porches and the kitchen. The guest house was a bonus and worked perfectly for our family and friends. Two grills, outdoor shower, private backyard, fire pit, master suite, easy walk to downtown, street parking. I would definitely rent this home again. The only negative on cleanliness is that the house was somewhat dusty and there was not enough dish or hand soap available.

The property is great for families . We really enjoyed our stay with kids. The decor is very nice, mid century vibes which are so popular these days. The accommodations in the cottage we’re like having an extra little apartment accessible through the backyard. Close to center, we enjoyed the daily walks. Will be recommending to friends. Thank you!

Family Trip

The property was great for a family getaway. The screened-in porches were our favorite spots for dinners and game nights. The town of Saugatuck is a quick walk from the house and had lots of restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend taking the steps up Mt. Baldy and the hike down to Oval beach. It was the highlight of the trip for my teenage boys. We will definitely be back!
