I want to tread carefully here, because this is NOT a terrible review. First, the positives. The location can not be beat. If you plan on spending the day in town, you can walk everywhere. The inside of the cottage was very clean, and the kitchen, laundry, and bedroom were very well- stocked. It was just my husband and me, and although a king bed would have been more comfortable, the queen was just fine. The location was quiet and secluded. Some observations: having to go down steep stairs in the middle of the night to use the washroom was not ideal. The furniture was on the older side and only the couch was "loungable." The TV was very small and YouTube TV is not user- friendly. Plus we couldn't figure out how to get live news or sports. No instructions were given. Both the inside and outside of the cottage needs a good paint job. The patio tables and chairs in the deck were so dirty they were not usable, and the deck and backyard needs serious maintenance work. Broken gate latch and fence, uneven, hazardous ground, etc. This place has such great potential, but needs some updating and TLC. ##### Lisa and Jeff F. The patio is beautiful and secluded, but unfortunately the mosquitoes in the evening made it very uncomfortable - despite a citronella candle and bug spray. The main issue was the pull out couch - mattress was thin and very uncomfortable, and the sheets had rips in them. I would recommend this property again but only to those who don’t plan to use the couch as a sleeping space. ##### Anna S. The only down side is the outside deck which is in bacd condition and dirty, but we would stay here again regardless of the deck ##### Michael V.
