Pleasant New Year's Stay
This is our second year staying at this cabin for New Year's. Overall the stay was enjoyable, just as good as the previous year. One major thing that put a damper on the experience was the constant scritching of a mouse in the walls/ceiling of one of the upstairs bedrooms, disturbing the sleep of the occupants. I recommend contacting someone to check for an infestation. Otherwise very positive, may return again.

Excellent Holiday Weekend
Very clean house. Great amenities in kitchen. Fun basement with pool table, board games, and arcade games. Hot tub in great shape. Kids loved jumping in the lake. Wonderful hidden gem!

Loved the charming cabin! Location was perfect and the lake relaxing. The cabin, being in a highly treed area, was dark and relaxing. Only problem we faced was a good enough light to apply makeup. A lighted makeup mirror would make the cabin perfect!

Ladies Weekend
This was a great property. from wine kyes, to coffee cups, to cooking pots and pans, casserole dishes, containers to store left overs it was just GREAT! I have stayed at others which the cupboards were bare. This property had everything you needed and more. Lots of board games, chess, pool table, video games, poker table. I was worried were would we all eat as the picture online showed three chairs at the table There is actually 8 :) We loved the screened in porch and the short walk to the lake.

Our quick family vacation
We enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was exactly as described. Well stocked, Roomy, Perfect location, isolated and quiet but a short drive to Saugatuck and surrounding towns. The hot tub was nice after a day of walking around town. The basement was a big hit with our kids, from the pool table and board games, to the arcade style games. Only drawback, and it is minor, with the open stairs it can get a little noisy on the first floor when the kids are downstairs. All in all we would definitly stay here again.

Winter Family Getaway and Birthday
We have been staying at this cabin for years now. We love it! Love the log cabin, fireplace and hot tub. We celebrate our grandsons birthday there every year. We love the Saugatuck area. We have been lucky to have snow every time we come so we can sled. Love how accommodating Elisabeth is, very easy to work with. Highly recommend her cabin.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our son’s wedding at the Ravines. Felt at home as soon as we walked in! Very roomy, beautiful! Game room in basement was amazing. Convenient location! Will come back for sure.

Great Getaway
This cabin is beautiful! Even though there are other cabins close by, there is a great deal of privacy. The attention to detail in the accommodations was excellent. Everyone could enjoy the property no matter the weather. Lots to enjoy inside and outside the cabin. It's proximity to Lake Michigan, Holland, and Saugatuck makes for lots to do and see. Communication with the property owner was timely and detailed. She was extremely helpful. We highly recommend this property.

Great place to spend time with family. As spoken about in other reviews, lots to do in cabin, would’ve loved a rocker on porch, but porch is hidden with scrubs. Last carpet in lower leave needed a good vacuum. Well worth the price.Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Nice cabin
Nice rustic cabin close to shops and restaurants. We had a great stay there, and had everything we needed. The house is a little creaky/loud when walking around. This isn't a huge problem, but something to keep in mind for light sleepers.

What an enjoyable stay we had on our winter weekend get away! Time spent playing games, relaxing by the fire and soaking in the hot tub. Everything we needed for a relaxing get away was at the cabin, without having to leave. A great time and wonderful memories were made with our family and friends.

Winter getaway
This is our second time staying, first time with family. Great place to stay for a family! Couple thing that would help, needs a metal buckets to put fireplaces ashes in. The fireplace was not cleaned out when we arrived and we didn’t have anyplace to put the ashes. They were cold, so we we used a plastic bag. We did this all weekend. It snowed all weekend and we had ice and there was an empty container of ice melt. Really could have used it because the roof dripped on the steps and sidewalk and refroze. Made it dangerous. The bed downstairs could use a new mattress, my daughter and son in law stayed there and the said all you felt was springs. They did not enjoy sleeping on it. The property managers did not turn up the hot tub. I called and spoke with the owner and all it needed was turned up. By the evening it was usable. We celebrated a birthday while there and had a great time. We’ll return again, hope next time these issues have been addressed.

Beautiful weekend getaway
Place is very cozy and inviting. Fireplace perfect addition for winter days wood is provided but minimally protected from weather hard to find dry wood. Hot tub chlorine was very overpowering making this feature unbearable to use. Kitchen clean and well stocked. Game room definitely a plus. Enjoyed our stay

Our group of friend met here to enjoy a football game together only to find out there was no cable. I contacted the owners and was told we could view it on sling, but we weren’t able to. I called them back and left a message but they never responded. That was disappointing.

Our family of 5 enjoyed a wonderful three day get away at this beautiful home. It is very clean and has comfortable beds. We really enjoyed the fireplace, played games in the basement game room, and played cards and other games at the huge dining room table.

This quiet cabin is a short drive from town. There is ample space for up to 6 people. Game room downstairs was a lot of fun. Kitchen was well equipped. Appreciated all the firewood available, too. We hope to return!

We enjoyed a beautiful long weekend at this log cabin in the woods near Goshorn Lake. Owner provided well stocked kitchen and woodpile which was great for our group. Spacious bathrooms and nice hot tub. Short walk to the lake. Great getaway!

The property is in a great setting with nice layout for a family or small group of friends. We really enjoyed the hot tub; we did not take advantage of the game room in the lower level. (It was musty but did look like it could be fun for a family). It is a short drive to Saugatuck/Douglas and close access to the expressway and bike path. It needs some TLC on a few items including the front screen door and bed linens/pillows. It was very thoughtful to have some basics available for use - some soap, shampoo, foil, plastic wrap...Very helpful. Note - bring your own charcoal if you are going to grill.

Very fun area, spacious cabin
Comfortable well furnished cabin well located to enjoy Saugatuck, Lake Michigan, and Goshorn Lake. I was surprised by the restrictions imposed by the neighborhood association which has a manager policing the grounds. Be aware that no more than 3 cars may park at the home and that there may be restrictions on how many people may gather together.

Great Family Vacation Spot
The cabin was great. Nicely furnished and decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked and the hot tub and finished basement were a nice extra. There is a very short walk to Goshorn Lake which is perfect for floating. Short drive to Oval Beach and Saugatuck Dunes State Park. Great area, great cabin, we will be back.

The cottage was even more beautiful than the pictures. Everything is very clean and the cottage is quite large. The area is very quiet with only an occasional car on the street. The lake was very pretty also. We had a wonderful time and would definitely go back.

It was fun and very peaceful place for an adult getaway. The hot tub was a nice bonus since it was still a bit chilly at night and there was a nice game room for the guys. It would have been nice to be able to check out a little later but it was understandable.

Quick winter get away
Our family stayed for two nights in February for a short mid- winter break. Our main goal was to have a place to stay that made us not want to leave and the hidden dunes cabin did not disappoint. This worked fine for a birthday weekend for 4 adults and 4 kids. The home was quaint, the owner was easy to communicate with, and we enjoyed having firewood available. Beds were small and weren’t very comfy. Particularly the downstairs double was super uncomfortable, 100% firm with springs poking up. The basement has a piece of cut carpet just laid on the cement and was very cold.

Post-Holiday Covid Family Getaway
Had a great time with my adult children at this cabin. Especially enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub. Plenty of room for five adults to spread out. Played pool and board games and watched some TV in front of a roaring fire. Would definitely stay there again - hopefully when we can get out and do some things where we would interact with other people without virus fears.
