The location was perfect, both to get to downtown as well as to a beautiful inter urban trail (Mildred Peterson Nature Preserve) nearby for nature ( and dog) walking."

"Hands down the best spot along with Michigan coast for a celebration! The perfect location and accommodations for my wife's 50th bday party. To have a main and guest house works great for larger parties. Access to a chef was a treat you don't get at most properties and the beach at sunset was spectacular! "The 4bedrooms are so spacious and the living areas (living room, dining, kitchen) are so inviting to hang out with family and friends together. While I've stayed at many rentals, I was impressed by the small touches available here - enough paper towels, detergent, TVs in the rooms, smart thermostat, fully stocked cooking supplies in the kitchen, etc. We could easily have just brought ourselves and clothes and been set! Also, we spent a lot of time on the deck, which had a view of the river. Those made for some relaxing mornings and sunset evenings. The owner was also very easy to reach and communicate with. Five stars all around!"
