It was a very happy anniversary!

The spa amenities were very welcoming after a long day of exploring the lake area. Breakfast included a plethora of delicious choices. We also enjoyed a beautiful sunrise and sunset each day from our terrace .

Great location

Hotel clean and well maintained. Room was spotless with a great view over the lake. Underground parking gets the car off the road with lifts directly to reception and rooms. Staff were most welcoming but especially Mauro in the restaurant/bar. Food in the restaurant was excellent but found the menu a little restrictive when staying for a few nights. Outside pool area very nice with pool bar, but unfortunately can be affected by vehicle fumes as near to main road.

Outdated overpriced hotel

Hotel is outdated and I wouldn’t say they have spa. Only indoor pool and outdoor pool. We had lunch at restaurant and food quality was very poor. Sea food in pasta was tasting for freezer. Location is nice and they have good garage for car but this were the only positive things.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this hotel . The room was spacious and the view of the lake from the balcony was stunning . Staff were helpful . Positives : We loved the position overlooking Lake Iseo - if you like walking its 25 mins into Predore (mostly pavement) to the local ferry terminal or 50 mins the other way (all pavement) into Sarnico - great place at the end of the lake for eating/shopping. We stayed in the Rivale junior suite with was lovely and spacious and the air con was fabulous and much needed ! Breakfast buffet decent but same every day. Even though it was August it felt fairly quiet. Negatives : Staff are really uninterested and do not engage with you. Reception / bar area was eerily quiet ! Room was cleaned daily but not hoovered, and sometimes the mini fridge was filled and sometimes not ! We did not really use the large terrace off the room as it wasn't particularly sunny and attracted mosquitos ... Only ate once in the hotel restaurant as it has very limited menu and no ambience - food was decent to be fair but preferred to eat out. Outdoor pool was clean but noisy radio music played at weekends (only time when the snack bar is open) so best to choose a room away from the pool area for peace and privacy Not the best choice hotel if you don't like walking / cycling and don't have a car !

The hotel and pool was quite fine, personal was also ok, sometimes a little unfriendly, a smile helps a lot! The room cleaning was not good! Bed was done nicely but no exchange of pool towels, no exchange of any bath amnesties and also no cleaning of the used spoons! Breakfast was very good, nice choice of sweets, sausages and cheese!

On Monday the 17th a day before our departure from the hotel the cleaners never bothered to clean the room claiming that we had on the door the don’t disturb sign which was not true. We removed the sign at 11.30 when we left the hotel. The reception offered a clean towels but after demanding that the room has to be cleaned they called the chambermaid to clean the room. Also they called the plumber to to fix the hand basin block.
