Best location in Sarasota for access to food, night life, and parks. Bicycle friendly and very safe. House is like new. TV's and wi-fi are the best I've had at a VRBO.

Great Sarasota Property

If you want to be in walking distance to downtown Sarasota and central to all that Sarasota has to offer, this is the place for you. It was clean, modern, and a peaceful home. Jay & Eri who own the place are some of the "best" property managers that we have encountered-always following up to ensure everything is perfect.

Incredible Stay in Sarasota

This house was a great stay for a winter getaway in a nice location minutes from everything. Place was very clean and had extra amenities like beach towels and chairs which we used. The office space was also helpful to do some remote work from. My wife and I greatly enjoy our time. Host surprised us with a bottle a wine for our anniversary trip. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Laurel Park Cottage

This cottage had everything we needed for a great stay ! The location was quiet and walkable to great restaurants and tourist attractions such as the Farmers Market and Selby Botanical Gardens. The cottage was well equipped with new appliances and comfortable beds. The owners provided a great selection of teas and coffee, beach chairs and towels. There is a carport to keep your car off of the street, a wonderful front porch to enjoy your coffee and meet the friendly neighbors walking their dogs. The owners were responsive and helpful. We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful Time Away

My wife and I wanted to have a nice week away to explore Sarasota and surrounding areas with one of our daughters, who is in a wheelchair. We selected this property because of its location in a historic downtown Sarasota neighborhood, close location to shopping and dining within walking distance; and, we wanted to be close to the Legacy Biking / Hiking trail. We couldn't have been more pleased with all the above. We were able to walk with her in her hiking stroller to all our desired locations. The property is new and well done and very clean. Lastly, I work remotely and was able to work during our trip in the office area. Having a dedicated office area was significant for our trip. Overall, we highly recommend this property and owner.

This is an excellent rental and served us well as our base of operations for a week's stay in Sarasota.I'd say the property's prime virtue is (as the old real estate joke has it) location, location, location. It's well situated in the lovely Laurel Park district of Sarasota (known as the artists district). Even the fact that the fronting Oak St. was undergoing repairs during our stay didn't detract from that. Downtown Sarasota with all its shops, restaurants, and other activities is a reasonable walk away (about 1 mi), but driving into town and parking is doable. (Advice: before driving into the city center be sure to have the ParkMobile app installed and working on your phone.)Upon arrival we found the house in excellent condition -- everything clean and shipshape. Particularly nice was the modern walk-in shower (though its one bathroom is quite tiny). The kitchen was superbly stocked with virtually every cooking utensil a chef might need. The big screen TV came with Netflix available -- a nice feature. The house WiFi worked great for all our devices. If I had to find a nit to pick I'd suggest a couple of furniture additions. The kitchen could easily accommodate a small two-person dining table with chairs (though to be fair the stools positioned at the kitchen counter work well). Also, the main bedroom could really use a chair, both to sit in and to toss clothes onto.Overall we were very happy with the rental and would recommend it to future visitors to Sarasota.

We loved our stay! The location was perfect as we're walkers and it was an easy 15 minute walk to downtown Sarasota and all the amazing shops, restaurants and theatre. The house itself has a crisp, beachy vibe on the outside and all redone, clean and comfortable inside. Being that we stayed for the entire month of July, having great A/C was appreciated. Comfy living room and beds, huge TV. The hosts were simply amazing - anytime we needed anything, they were there in hours to make sure our stay was comfortable. We can't wait to go back!
