The beach is beautiful-- lots of free public parking. Su has everything you need for a day at the beach -- chairs, umbrella, water toys. The screen porch as great for hanging out away from the sun with fresh air. Grocery store is right around the corner. Check out Cortez (about 15 minutes) for some delicious fish restaurants without the high prices.
