Beautiful Island Home with Great Amenities, Pool, Grill, located close to the Gulf Beaches

  • Welcome to Coconut Hideaway located just steps away from the Gulf beaches of Anna Maria Island. This beach house has a private patio surrounded by tropical landscaping where you can enjoy the pool, outdoor shower and Weber grill. In the garage, you will find a beach wagon, chairs and umbrella for your days on the beach. As you enter the home, you will find that the fully equipped kitchen with a dining table for 8 opens into the living area for easy entertainment. The spacious living area has sliding doors to the porch, which overlooks the backyard oasis. One of the two master suites is located on this floor. The master suites come complete with king size beds with 600 thread count prima cotton wrinkle free sheets. This suite also has access to the porch overlooking the pool. The other bedroom is a kid favorite! It has a built-in bunk bed complete with cubbies, lights, portholes and a ladder up to the top bunk.

    Upstairs you will find 2 more bedrooms, one of them being the master suite which has its own private porch with a great view of the Gulf beach. You can enjoy your morning coffee without leaving the master suite with the provided Keurig. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and its own bathroom. Linens, towels and beach towels are included in this home.

    Lizzie Lu's Island Retreat is a full-service property manager on Anna Maria Island to ensure our guests enjoy some of the nicest, well stocked homes on the island. For an additional charge, we offer GEM cars among other services. Rest assured we are here to assist as needed in the most efficient manner possible.
    While vacationing on Anna Maria Island, please adhere to our local rules and regulations for our residential community which are included in our homes as well as our arrival information.

Celebrating First Week of Retirement

My husband and I came to Coconut Hideaway to celebrate my birthday, my retirement after 40 years with one company and July 4th! We brought our golden retriever and we had the best time!! This property has everything and is literally steps away from beach access! We love staying at Lizzie Lu Island Properties! We stayed last year in another one of their properties just a few houses down. The communication and service is really great! We rented a Gem cart from them as well and it was waiting for us when we arrived. Just a great week!! Will absolutely return!!

Perfect for Kids

Perfect, convenient and safe vacation home for our family vacation. Our grandkids loved the bunk room and the pool (gated for safety and partially shaded, which kept our little ones from burning). The beach wagon made the short trip to the beach easy and fun. It was a great set up for multi-generational family fun!

Excellent vacation rental

A lovely home away from home with very nice amenities. Lots of beach towels, chairs and umbrellas and a large cart to take it all on the short walk to the beach. The rental manager was amazingly responsive when we called about the ice-maker not making ice - within an hour we had a portable ice-maker and the management checked on the ice-maker. Worked great after that and we had lots of ice. Lots of cooking utensils but a wisk would be a good addition. I would mention that the listing states there is shampoo at the unit but it was only enough for a day or two and not enough for each bathroom and the outside shower. The floors were also not really clean. Overall, I would definitely rent from this company again.

Great Place to Stay!

Great property - very well maintained and they've thought of every detail down to the beach chairs, umbrellas...even a Bluetooth speaker to use at the beach. Awesome location with easy beach access just steps out the front door. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic Visit

Outstanding rental home! The owner included everything from beach chairs to band-aids. All you will need is groceries and clothes. Every single thing was in excellent condition and working order. Will recommend to friends visiting AMI/Holmes Beach. Simply perfect!

We loved the area and the property. The heated salt water pool was a wonderful luxury that we used each day. We rented bikes at the beginning of our trip and a gem car for the end of our trip. It was a perfect mix.

Great location!

We had a fabulous time at Lizzie Lu's. Great location and the house had everything that we needed. The one thing I might mention was that the front door doesn't dead bolt, so even when it's locked to the outside small children can turn the lever to get out. Not a safety issue at all with the house, rather a worry that a child might wander out in the night...Thanks for a wonderful vacation even through the rain!!!

Amazing place !!! Amazing Service !!!

Please don't book this property ! If word spreads about how awesome this house is then we might not get to have another dream vacation. It really is perfect ! Within 2 hours of arrival, our kids were trying to figure out how to just stay here permanently. I would sit out on the master porch in the morning and kids would walk by and point to the ones they were going to live in when they grew up. The outside is almost a great as the inside. Very spacious and the details of the decor are perfect. The kitchen is perfect - style, layout, even the way the cabinets close is cool. The house had plenty of room for the 4 adults and 2 kids to have quiet time or together time. The pool was an oasis when we got tired from the very short walk to the beach. Hanging out by the pool was like being in your own little world. Also great - you don't have to bring a bunch of stuff when you are provided sheets, towels, beach chairs, beach cart, boogie boards, sand castle gear, etc. just bring clothes and food basically. The service was equally amazing. Decided to get bikes after a few days and a little later they were delivered. The app makes is so easy to communicate with the owners. In summary, stay away. This perfect beach house is ours.
