The beds are comfy, the rooms beautifully decorated and the breakfasts are wonderful. The guesthouse is in easy walking distance in the old town to shops, historical sites, restaurants and bars. Valida the landlady is lovely, so friendly and makes you feel like it's home from home. This hotel was absolutely spectacular! I felt like I was staying with a cousin at her private home. Valida and Ema made me feel so welcome and comfortable, I can't say enough good things about the experience they provide. The hotel is efficient and clean, with lovely personal touches (books in rooms, especially). The location is great for access to Bascarsija, and everything in the city is within walking distance of this hotel. The highlight of my days was made to order breakfast with Valida. The food was great, but the company was even better. Don't hesitate. Bustling with eating options, local attractions, and fun shopping. Our host was the sweetest ever! So nice and accommodating. Very helpful and delightful. I would stay here anytime I am in town. You cannot go wrong with this guest house. Only one caveat: not for the disabled if you cannot handle stairs. Most of the balkans are full of stairs, and this guest house is no exception. But given that no where else has accessible areas, this is your very best option. We loved it! Friendly staff. Had to carry luggage up the stairs, but the staff is willing to help if you need them to. Attention to small things were really impressive -- they helped me with parking my car in subtle but very kind ways. For instance, seeing that my car was small (a VW golf), they suggested using their garage rather than use the paid parking spot. Once the garage was found to be still too small, they found a free street parking space and parked for me. Since the valet parking was very easy and very short distance, they didn't charge me for it. 22 euros saved, even though they did not have to do it -- I went in knowing that I had to pay to park, but they helped me as best as they could. Valida and Mumo are the perfect hosts, the accommodation is well located, beautiful and spotlessly clean. And Valida's breakfasts are just incredible .
