The ocean can be viewed only when you are standing at the balcony, not from the room itself. Besides that, everything else was outstanding. Staff were very helpful, esp Grace from Egert and Elliot the F&B manager from Edition Market. Lots of selection available at breakfast. The seafood buffet at Edition Market were fresh and tasty from mango clams, baby abalone to lamb chop etc. Hotel prepared a surprise Birthday room deco and cake in room which was exceptional. The dragonfruit cake was super delicious and special. The staff was really amazing, kind, friendly and genuinely interested in making our stay great. Eduard greeted us and made sure that everything was set for our stay and that we were well taken care of, checking in numerous times to make sure we had no additional needs. He and the staff showed great interest in our 2 year old son and wanted to make sure we knew of everything that was available for entertainment and even sent a few little treats to my son. The breakfast was great, and for dinner the Indonesian BBQ restaurant was a highlight of our trip... nestled into a sandy tree covered little area with live music, the food was exceptional. Chef IMade serves up some really delicious food and we enjoyed spending time talking with him about his food, China, Indonesia and many other things... he is truly a kind and talented man and is a great asset to Marriott.
