Food and drink service at the pool and room service took 30-40 minutes. On our first day, lunch took over an hour to receive our food. We had to remind them of our drink order and that was received about 40 minutes after it was first ordered. Swimming is not allowed in the ocean. Overall, the staff was helpful and friendly but I was disappointed in the service times. I don't know where everyone else was! The food was very good, except a lunch time salad which took 45mins & was basically a pile of leaves, not as described in the menu. So I cancelled my order & had an icecream instead! The pools were really nice and the views of the ocean were beautiful. The lobby was also beautiful. I went to the spa and received an amazing massage. However, the food was too overpriced and not that tasteful. Also, the beach was inaccessible due to algae. The room was also dissappointing. It was dirty. There were ants, a dirty floor, mildew in the bathroom and dirty sheets. Every day I woke up with bites on my arms and legs. Something was biting me in the bed. After requesting another room, the biting stopped. The second room was better cleaned with no ants and cleaner sheets. Overall, the resort is beautiful from the outside but needs an upgrade in the inside.
