UNDERWHELMING
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The location was ideal (close to the beach, shopping and restaurants) and they provided airport transfers which was perfect. The accommodations were smaller than anticipated and parts of the amenities were quite worn and unfavorable. Free buffet breakfast offered a satisfying selection. Overall enjoyed Kamari.

Great value hotel.
Very nice clean hotel only a short walk from the beach and nice bars and restaurants. The pool area is nice but the sun loungers are decayed and need replacing.

pleasant stay in Kamari
The hotel was clean. It felt a little old and as though it needed a good update, the pool was across the street and the hotel was a 5-10 min walk from the beach. The food was just ok and only some of the staff were friendly. Overall, it was clean and the air conditioning worked (although the settings were dated - either blowing cool air or heat, nothing auto).

The hotel was clean and in a good location, close to Kamari Beach and many restaurants. Upon my arrival, the staff was very kind and helpful. However, throughout my stay, staff became very rude and unhelpful. I was charged an additional 70 euros for having a friend stop by and catch up. When asked why I was being charged, they indicated that they thought the person slept over (which they did not). When my friend and I left we both felt very uncomfortable from looks from the staff. The judgement was evident in their looks and body language. Both of us felt as if we were being treated unfairly on our potentially perceived sexual orientation, and possibly our skin color. I felt so uncomfortable that I left Santorini for 3 days to stay elsewhere until my final day. In addition, when in need of transportation to various locations, staff could not find reliable transportation and would give up rather quickly without securing transportation, leading me to miss my ferry and excursions. On my final night, I had secured a private car with the hotel at 2 am to get to the airport for my 3:30 am flight. The private car did not arrive until 2:40 and I almost missed my flight- if it weren’t for a wonderful lady at the airport who let me skip the line. Overall, I was disappointed in the amount of money I spent on this place and the treatment I received. The place was clean and some of the staff with nice- so not everything was bad. However, it did effect my overall first visit to Greece.

Regarding the additional 70€ we were obliged to charge you with, this was due to yourself providing accommodation for an extra person that was not included in your original booking. If for any reason our employees made you feel uncomfortable please accept our sincere apologies and rest assure that was not done on purpose. Regarding the transportation you have occasionally requested we believe our front desk employees have explained to you that finding transportation on Santorini during high season and in such a short notice is a difficult issue. We could have easily arranged any form of transportation you wish, for any location within the island, if you would have informed us a bit more in advance and not on the last moment. Finally please accept our apologies for all the inconvenience caused due to the delay of your pick up –transportation on your departure day.

When I arrived I found out that I ended up in a basement room. When we walked in it smelled like sewerage. Desk clerk immediately rectify the situation and put me in a different room. The Wi-Fi did not work at all in the room. On the second to last day the Wi-Fi decided to work only when I was sitting on the toilet. The room was spacious and design was cute. The cleaning stuff were great as well. It appeared that they were all from Albania. The staff were super nice. Catharina took great care of me at he pool and assisted me in my delicious milkshake. She also help me with my protein shakes for breakfast. The front desk clerks were super nice as well. Breakfast was fine. Plenty to choose from. The pool across the street was nice. I got in some water aerobics and my laps. Location wise it’s not too far away from the beach. I ended up hanging out elixir. they gave me great service there as well. The heart of the city is about a four block walk from the hotel. Buses were about two blocks away. Overall I had a great time hanging out Kamari Beach area. It kind of reminded me of an island in Thailand.

Beautiful hotel close to beach
Great staff, from the moment we arrived they were welcoming and gave us insight to best places to try and which to avoid for touristy craziness. Was close to the Kamari beach and lots of restaurants near by. Room cleaned everyday and plenty of food available at breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed the location, lots to do. Great place to stay at!

Very basic hotel, Receptionist not helpful at all very miserable lady. We have to ask her call our airport transfer . I have to get the number n ask her to call for us. Shower not working, no phone no iron in the room. Dirty chairs inside the room. Breakfast not good. One day only 2 towels provided no napkins at all. Dirty stains towels n napkins left on the bed. We keep making complaints. We were there for holiday to enjoy. Expedia hasn't advertised properly. No happy at all.

Nice hotel, good location and pool.
The hotel looks lovely from the outside. The reception is very modern and we received a friendly greeting from Alitana. The pool area is lovely, large and fairly quiet, very relaxing. The rooms are small, but fine. They could do with some improvement. We were only given one pillow each initially. However, when we requested more, they were provided. There is a fridge and safe. No tea and coffee making facilities. Bed wasn't the most comfortable and annoyingly, was set up as two singles, even though we had booked a double. Wifi at the reception and pool was good. But didn't work in the rooms. Breakfast fine, basic room for improvement. Greek yoghurt, cereal and fruit were nice. But cold scrambled egg and sausages were not very appealing! Overall, I would come back again, but only if the rate was good enough. As I think there are better, more affordable places in Kamari.

The location was perfect. Quiet street, but a short walk to all the restaurants, shops and the blacks and beach. Mike at the front desk was very helpful. The hotel exceeded our expectations.

Perfect location
Santorini is perfect holiday destination and Kamari itself is just ideal for families, couples or single travellers. Everyone is very friendly and the resort is perfect with plenty of places to visit. The hotel is a great size. People in bar, kitchen, reception are all really helpful. Hotel location is great. Will be back.

Fantastic staff, lovely situated hotel!
Check in was easy and Mixalis explained the area extremely well allowing us to explore with ease. The staff were always helpful, and even printed off information and assisted with our trip we had pre-booked but had difficulty with. The room was exceptionally clean and modern. Although, our double bed was two single mattresses side by side that would slip apart occasionally. Breakfast was simple, but varied. The pool was nice, but could have had more sunloungers. The pool bar was lovely and the cocktails were yummy. The car park had plenty of spaces and was visible from areas of the hotel to check the vehicle. Overall, the staff made the trip relaxing and stress free and the hotel was a perfect location (rent a quad bike or car if you can to get around the island with ease, although multiple bus stops were near the hotel). Would definitely reccomend staying here, and I would stay here again in the future. Very happy!

Good hotel, close to beach
Alitana was a really lovely hotel, I think it is fairly newly built. The staff are friendly and helpful. Very pretty rooms, my only criticism is that at meal times, if you are in one of the rooms close to the reception. It gets very noisy. At breakfast expect to be woken up by scraping chairs, clinking cutlery and loud conversations especially by large groups. I think the all meals should take place near the pool /bar area if there is enough space or request to be put in a room that is quiet and away from the front desk. The location to Kamari beach and the bus stops to town are perfect. Kamari itself is lovely for food and little bits of shopping.

Really nice, clean, convenient hotel. It's under new management since the bad reviews on here. I was on my own and the staff really looked after me. It's really close to the beach and all of the restaurants. Lovely room which was cleaned every day.

Close proximity to the beach and bars!
Excellent hotel with fantastic staff. Pool is of a great size compared to other hotels in the area. Rooms are recently refurbished and are of a good standard! Breakfast is basic and made up of cold meats and bread. All in all the hotel is definitely something to recommend and certainly worth its price!

Convaincu par sa bonne note, nous sommes allés au Iris boutique hôtel les yeux fermés. Malheureusement, litierie horrible ( oreillers horriblement fins et durs) et pas de possibilité de changer, des murs aussi fins que du papier à cigarette, plus d’eau chaude après 9h du matin et très mauvais rapport qualité prix. Du côté positif, belle piscine et bonne localisation.

The staff was very nice and hospital towards us. Although the room was not in the best condition. The toilet did not work and did not flush at all, the air condition made a very loud noice all throughout the night so it was difficult to sleep with it. Although the staff was very nice and welcoming so that was good!

Mit etwas besserer Wegbeschreibung ein Superhaus!
Das "Alitana Boutique Hotel", das sich inzwischen "Iris Boutique-Hotel" nennt (und von daher unter dem ehemaligen Namen ein wenig schwer zu finden ist, verfügt über ein überaus freundliches und sehr hilfsbereites Personal, ist sehr sehr sauber und praktisch ausgestattet. Kurz: für einen erholsamen Urlaub tadellos und empfehlenswert!

Veldig fint til en billig penge
Helt greit nivå på hotellet. Daglig rengjøring og hyggelige verter var bra, men leiligheten var noe slitent og med mye lyd fra ventilasjon/dusj hos nabo. Ting fungerte veldig greit, og man fikk absolutt det man betalte for, men føltes noe skittent og hardt brukt med skader på dører, toalett, dusj og vegger.

Hotel Lage Top sehr gute Bus verbindungen nach Fira oder Flughafen das Meer in 3 Minuten zu Fuss Erreichbar. Die vielen Restaurants in der Nähe ist auch ein Pluspunkt. Das Negative: Das Frühstück ist ziemlich Mager und die Reinigung lässt auch zu wünschen übrig. Das Bad ist sehr klein aber und der Duschkopf besiztz nur wenig Druck. Im grossen und ganzen waren wir aber zufrieden.

Niente da dire!
Abbiamo soggiornato in questo fantastico hotel io e il mio ragazzo l'ultima settimana di luglio..che dire sono stati 7 giorni meravigliosi dal primo momento che abbiamo messo piede nell'hotel a quando ce ne siamo andati..la colazione e' davvero abbondante e soprattutto per tutti i gusti..l'angolo piscina e' tranquillissimo e ci ha permesso di rilassarci tantissimo ,i ragazzi della reception gentili e attenti ai nostri bisogni ,la stanza aveva un balconcino collegante all'hotel non grandissima ma perfetta per 2 e veniva pulita ogni giorno..davvero non posso trovare lati negativi..mi sono innamorata di santorini ma l'esperienza in questo hotel ha reso tutto piu' bello😘

Un petit hôtel très bien situé dans Kamari. Proche des bars, restaurants et plage à pied mais au calme. Une piscine moyenne mais grande pour Santorin. Nous avons tjs eu des transats disponibles. Le petit déjeuner buffet est minimal mais suffisant. Une jolie decoration et sobre. Je recommande !!!!

Greit hotell i nydelige Kamari
Et helt ok hotell. Vet ikke hvorfor de kaller det et Boutique Hotel da det i realiteten er et vanlig hotell. Rommet var som på bildet, balkongen var liten, utsikten heller dårlig så unngå rom 301-306. Disse rommene ligger også nær resepsjonsområdet/spisesalen så det ble mye støy. Når en reiser alene er det greit å få en dobbeltseng og ikke 2 enkle. Ba om dette, men endte opp med 2 senger. Syntes de kunne ha vasket badet bedre. De slet med frokostserveringen. Kvaliteten på maten var heller dårlig og var en ikke supertidlig ute manglet en masse ting. F.eks. brød og varme retter som stekt bacon etc. Bassengområdet var fint, men slitt med ødelagte parasoller og velbrukte solsenger. Men, alt i alt: Betjeningen var hyggelig, Kamari er et fint, rolig sted og hotellet var billig. Så det kan godt være jeg kommer til å bo der igjen.

Séjour des plus agréable à un tarif prohibitif situé à moins de 5 minutes de la plage de KAMARI dans un cadre superbe en toile de fond. Personnel très arrangeant, à l'écoute vraiment formidable, prête à repertir avec bonheur sur place.

Agréable séjour

Hôtel bien situé
Globalement nous avons passé un bon séjour dans ce petit hôtel très bien placé à proximité de la plage de KAMARI et de ses nombreux restaurants. Le petit déjeuner pourrait être légèrement amélioré toutefois. Dans l'ensemble un bon choix que nous n'avons pas regretté car les hôtels dans les îles sont très chers et certains décevants. Le personnel a été sympathique tout s'est bien passé.
