Important to keep in mind the location is on an uphill in the village therefore is not adaptable to anyone with mobility needs. However it would have been nice to know in advance that there was a donkey to get our luggage up the many stone steps to the hotel which is not accessible by vehicle. We had a cave house room which was incredible. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff was incredibly accommodating. Im übrigen ist das Hotel auf keinen Fall für fußkranke oder herzkranke Menschen zu empfehlen, da es nur über Treppen zu erreichen ist, Hotel liegt sehr schön, Gebäude aussen renoviert und ansprechend. Dann aber -zumindest bei unserem Zimmer - kein Fenster, kein Balkon - keine Aussicht. Das Zimmer war ein Schlauch mit Gewölbe unter dem man schläft. Tageslicht kommt nur durch eine Luke in der Tür, die man jedoch auch schließen mußte, da sonst die anderen Gäste in das Zimmer schauen können. Es war wie in einer Höhle - wer es mag?! Nach der Beschreibung im Hotelprospekt des Eigentümers und auch des Anbieter war dies nicht ersichtlich. Die Einrichtung schlicht, das WC und Bad aus den 70ern, die Messingarmaturen nicht gepflegt, sondern mit Patina und Kalkablagerungen, die Duschtrennwand nicht gereinigt. Die angebliche Küche hatte überhaupt kein Geschirr und kein Besteck, lediglich einen Wasserkocher, einen Kühlschrank und Herdplatten ----wofür? Was gefallen hat, war der Koffer-Transport Service mit dem Esel, der reibungslos funktionierte. Der Abholservice war auch nötig, da man a) das Hotel nicht auf Anhieb finden würde, b) die vielen Treppen das Kofferschleppen zur Strapaze machen würde. The private jacuzzi was nice but would recommend getting the one with the view rather than enclosed courtyard, not much privacy from neighbours. Staff were exceptionally helpful and rang up whoever we needed to sort things out for next day (boat trips, car rental, etc).
