We loved our stay at Santo Mine. Location wise, it’s perfect to be close enough for a short 5 minute walk to Oia whilst also being extremely peaceful and quiet throughout the hotel. Everything from the location, room cleanliness and wow factor with the views you get is spot on. I couldn’t write a review without complimenting the staff at the hotel. From reception/concierge to Bruno and his team in particular at the restaurants, they all make you instantly feel welcomed on arrival and throughout your stay. I couldn’t recommend the hotel enough as an ideal spot for a trip to Santorini!

Amazing hotel. Everything was perfect. The room was clean, well appointed and thoughtfully laid out. The balcony with the pool was perfect. And with that view. It was stunning. Perfect place to spend your romantic vacation with your significant other. Offers privacy unlike many other hotels in Oia with the same convenience they offer. Lays just outside of the main town. 3 minute walk and you’re where all the action is. Can’t say enough amazing things about this hotel. Would absolutely book another stay here if I ever find myself back in Santorini

One of the nicest resorts I have ever been to on every level. The reception desk staff are all absolutely the best! Warm, friendly, helpful and their joy is infectious. The property is stunning. It’s designed beautifully inside and out; we never want to leave! The private pools are stunning and perfectly warm. The breakfast in the morning is delicious with great variety and again, the staff is incredible! We had reservations on the caldera and cancelled them last minute when we discovered this resort had opened. Best decision we could have made. We can still walk over (~5min) but we have privacy and better sunset views! I will be recommending to everyone I know and would pick this resort over and over again!

New nice clean hotel. With respectful helpful state. Walking distance to the historic places. And very quiet area. Great free breakfast w the best view. The pool and the sunset view was breath taking. Price was a little high. The only problem was bugs in the yard because of the landscape in the back yard. They could easily solve the problem and get red-off the bugs by using spray around the building. I had to tell them what to do. I asked them to spray it after I finished my sun-lotion spray to get red-off the bugs.

We recently stayed at a hotel where we faced quite a few disappointments. The reception is at the other property and the room was at the other property. Which made our arrival and check-in process pretty cumbersome. In addition to that, we have to call golf cart and our car ( parking is not in the hotel area ) every time we had to go out to explore the Santorini town! Upon arrival, we were 'upgraded' to a room with a pool instead of the hot tub room we had booked. Given the chilly weather, we were looking forward to the warmth of a hot tub, so this switch was unwelcome. To make matters worse, we found insects on the bed sheets, which was quite distressing. This issue significantly affected our comfort and resulted in a sleepless night for us. Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel did not meet our expectations, and these issues dampened our overall experience.

We were initially not happy with our too as it had a half obstructed view of the sea (there were other rooms in front of us and not like what the pictures showed). Upon telling the manager, we were moved later. I would hope that the hotel clearly indicates this in the room options or charges differently if rooms have an obstructed view of the sea. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. Housekeeping was not great at all. I believe they’re a new hotel so some teething issues but on one day, the housekeeping simply made our bed and left rest of room untouched. Water wasn’t replenished, nor was coffee replenished. Small bits of litter not thrown away. No attempt to wipe the sink and other surfaces. Empty toilet roll not thrown away and new ones not given. We really expected better from what is a 5* hotel (in fact we’ve had better in 3* hotels). The second day was much better but little effort made to tidy the room (but was better than day before).
