The room was impeccable with a stunning sunset view from a comfortable sofa. The food from the restaurant was excellent with every choice we tried and the staff was extremely helpful and attentive to serve whenever there was a need. The day starts in a beautifully atmospheric cave turned luxury room, continues with the fine breakfast of your choosing delivered above the breathtaking bay view as the boats drift in and out, and continues as the sun moves onto your magical sun terrace, and front row seats for a beautiful sunset either from your terrace or at the Aspa restaurant with its authentic Greek fine dining. Very quiet and no one watching the sunset from the top could look down into your room like some of the hotels in the center of Oia. The staff was amazing and so accommodating. The room was stunning and the food was even better. The one thing I didn’t know which I would caution people about is there are a lot of stairs. We climbed 100 stairs everyday just to get up to the walking path into Oia’s village. Your room is huge and built into the cliff side so you’re in a cave-like room. The bathroom was a huge cave-like room with an awesome rainfall shower head. We had a private small pool that the staff could make cooler or warmer, and you have a perfect, unobstructed view of the Santorini sunset. The hotel was beautiful and clean, and that staff was so kind and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty. We had an amazing experience! The service was impeccable and they pulled out all the stops to make sure we had everything we could ever want or need. Our room was beautiful and had the most incredible views and the private plunge pool offered the opportunity to relax and cool off during the heat of the day. The sunsets here are the best on the island and you can watch from your private patio without dealing with the crowds. The made to order breakfast (and onsite) restaurant were delicious and catered to our needs. If you are looking to splurge on a couple of nights lodging Maregio Suites won’t disappoint. They make you feel like you’re the only guest there. Maregio suites was amazing! Fabulous staff who really went out of their way to make things comfortable for their guests. The rooms were great - we had a honeymoon suite! Huge and spacious, super clean and modern! The location isn’t in the central part of Oia village but it’s like a 8-9 mins walk. Plus you get the first class sunset views from your balcony! The only 2 things I would suggest is one there is no hot water kettle in the room and one other thing, there are ants around that get into the hot tub. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. White glove service all the way. The room we had was stunning, the shower was amazing, the pools (hot tub) are kept so clean. The views are amazing and endless…and the sunset, well, stunning. The food and delivery of breakfast and room service was great. They are so well set up and organized. The staff go above and beyond to ensure you are happy. The location is very desirable, however, make sure you are ok with a walk to and from transport, and stairs to access the property. We give our stay a 10/10. Our suite had a few issues for us: no shade on our patio in the afternoon when it was the hottest part of the day and our toilet would not flush from time to time. We noticed it would eventually flush, but that was an unexpected inconvenience in a hotel that is this expensive and lux. I was surprised they did not do anything extra or special knowing it was our honeymoon.
