Assyrtiko by A Terre Cave Villas is a completely renovated 19th century traditional house, located in the heart of Finikia, a 15 minutes walk from the iconic Oia, which is famous for its stunning sunset, one of the most famous around the world. The villa was a traditional winemakers house and It is equipped with all modern facilities offering its guests, moments of relaxation and tranquility. The unique traditional elements of the rooms will fascinate you, culminating in their vaulted ceiling. The space Assyrtiko Cave Villa is renovated in 2022 with attention to elegant simplicity and respect to the local style. It covers 60 m2 and consists of 1 bedroom equipped with king size bed, a spacious living room designed with luxury in mind, including a full kitchen area, the bathroom with built-in shower and a dedicated work desk. The airy and sunny white-washed spaces are fitted with vaulted ceilings following the traditional architecture of Santorini and equipped with A/C for the warm summer days. The villa can host up to 3 guests if the built-in sofa bed, located in the living room, is used. We can accommodate up to 10 guests, if you are interested, please do contact us. The villa is equipped, among others, with a fully equipped Kitchen with Fridge, Dishwasher, 4 Ceramic Stoves, Full size Oven, Kettle, Toaster, Nespresso Machine, Drip Coffee Machine and Pans and Pots. Also, a Flat Screen Smart TV, Hairdryer, Toiletries and free WiFi are some of the general facilities. In case you need anything that we haven't thought of including, please let us know and we will try our best to accommodate you. In its shared outdoor lounge area there is an outside marble table where you can enjoy your meals and your coffee. You can always grab a bottle of wine and walk up the stairs to the shared terrace where another seating area awaits for you to enjoy the magnificent view of the nearby vineyards and the light reflections over the Aegean Sea. Lastly, and because breakfast is the most important meal of the day, necessary ingredients like Rusks, Jams, Greek Honey, Butter, Coffee, Musli and Seasonal Fruits are provided. Guest access The property is just a short 3 minute walk from the entrance of Finikia village which is also the nearest free parking area and the drop off point in case you are using our private transfer service. The flexibility of self-check-in facilitated by a dedicated lockbox with a digital guide, allows guests to arrive at their convenience without worrying about time constraints. This convenience is especially valuable for travellers with varying schedules or those arriving late in the evening. A digital guide including the exact location point, your personal lockbox code and basic house manual will be sent to you before your arrival. The comprehensive information given to our guests, including the house operation manual, details about Santorini, and recommendations for activities and attractions, demonstrates a commitment to ensuring guests have everything they need for a memorable stay. The cave house was cool in the summer heat and there was plenty of outdoor space to sit and watch the sunsets. The owners went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We had a delightful stay at Vanta's place. A Terre is in Finikia, which, as the listing notes, is just a 15-minute walk from the bustling streets of Oia. It's the perfect spot for those looking for proximity to everything the town has to offer, but a bit of a quiet retreat at the end of the day. (It's also just around the corner from a critically-acclaimed restaurant.) The property itself is spotless and tastefully decorated, with a lovely terrace, and Vanta went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. One thing to note is the listing refers to a "bedroom" - the sleeping area is set off from the living room, but the property as a whole is pretty open-plan and the only door that closes is to the bathroom.
