If you want the peacefulness of Santorini without the chaos of the tourists, then this place is perfect for that!! A 10-15 min drive into Fira with all the shopping and fast foods if that is what you like. 10 min drive to Akrotiri for the perfect sunset, or stay within the property at the cliffs adjacent to hotel for another beautiful sunset spot. All you can need within 15 min drive with hidden gems close nearby. Supermarket less than 5 minutes away has everything you need!! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Lot of space in the room, a lot of storage. Superb balcony, great clean pool with a magestic view. Near the supermarket by foot and few restaurants. A lot of space for parking. Calm and private place away from the Oia , Fira crowd hunting for selfies. Good experience! Only thing i saw to improve is the climatisation that too freezing or too hot sometimes on the second floor. At the reception, Anna and Elvis gave us a warm and friendly welcome. We instantly felt at home with their kindness and persinal approach. They offered us some great information on the local area and made arrangements for a return shuttle pickup to the port for us. The room was cleaned daily, the AC kept us comfortable and cool. A small patio with a clothes drying rack allowed the space to dry out our laundry in the sun each day The pool is clean and inviting. The daily breakfast was simple but effective with a nice variety of foods to choose from. The nearby community of Megalochori is a true gem on Santorini. Set apart from the tourist hordes of Fira and Oia, it offers great restaurants and a quaint town square. It is the Greece we came for. The bus is 5 mins walk from the hotel. We enjoyed a picture perfect Caldera sunset with a glass of wine on the pool deck every evening of our stay.
