This area is the heart of Santol and offers the most convenience for visitors. The town proper is where you'll find the municipal hall, local markets, and a few small eateries. It's the central point for local transportation and provides easy access to the surrounding natural attractions.

For families, staying near the town proper on Santol-Suyo Road is ideal. It provides the easiest access to local amenities and the starting points for excursions to nearby waterfalls and natural pools, which are often the main draw for visitors with children. Couples looking for a peaceful retreat will also find the areas just outside the immediate town proper on Santol-Suyo Road appealing.
When is the best time to go to Santol?

Couples looking for a relaxing escape will find these months particularly appealing. You can enjoy strolls through the countryside, visit local craft shops, or simply unwind in a tranquil setting. The clear skies also offer excellent opportunities for stargazing in the evenings.

For travellers interested in local culture and festivities, visiting in January or February might coincide with some of the region's smaller, local celebrations, offering a glimpse into traditional life.
