The booking included a bottle of wine per room booked which we never received therefore false advertising . We asked the owner , he said it was no longer available

Location is literally next door to the fish market (no it doesn’t smell like fish at all) and walking distance to all the sites but it was noisy until the wee hours and windows aren’t soundproof. Overall, hotel room was spacious but was a little tired. Water stains on ceiling, paint needs touching up in a few places. Breakfast was OK - not a lot of options but pastries were good. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is a unique property which is somewhat isolated but about 20 minutes from Syracusa and we were able to get an Uber pretty easily. We had a rental car and went to Arenella Beach which was great experience which I feel was a real authentic Sicily lido experience. We paid 5 euro for the parking 25 euro for 2 chairs. They had a man making very good pizza and a restaurant with full bar to sit in (food court set up). The pool at the hotel is very nice and huge and heated. Our room had a hot tub which was really nice. The morning breakfast is a buffet but they will make you omelets, pancakes and eggs too! This is a very relaxing place but the rooms are not luxurious but clean and adequate. The staff was very helpful.

Max greeted us and carried our suitcases up the stairs. (Warning: The Inn is on the second floor and there is no elevator.) Max was wonderful, giving us all the information we needed to know about the inn and the surrounding area. The room and bed were comfortable. This is a small inn with only a few rooms, but it is a good place to stay in the historic area.
