"I love this historic hotel that was I think originally a monastery. The rooms surround a garden It’s in a great location , Hidalgo park and there’s a Starbucks next door. There’s a small pool on the top level that overlooks a cathedral! They serve a lovely breakfast in the mornings to get your day of cenote swimming or visiting of Great Mayan Ruins.For the cost you can’t go wrong. Don’t forget to go to Amaro for wonderful live music and diner. Right around the corner! Let’s pot it this way, "

"This hotel is well located, and has on-site parking which is a rarity around there. The staff were friendly, most especially the valet who does a wonderful job and seems to genuinely enjoy doing it. Room was good. I found near the entrance had a strong perfume smell, but was fine once you got past that. Other than that, they didn't seem to do anything about people smoking right outside (ironically right in front of the no smoking signs). I found I was allergic to whatever they wash the towels in, and ended up having to use my travel towel, but I'm in no way holding it against them, that's a total niche just me problem. Despite that, I have no hesitation recommending this hotel to others, and would consider staying again. "

"Casa Loreto is a beautifully renovated old hacienda, elegant, sophisticated and timeless. We stay six days and enjoyed the pool, and steam bath. Our room had a patio with a hot tub. The hotel is located about a 25 minutes walk from the Main Plaza and Montejo Avenue. One complaint is their restaurant, it is not good and not recommended. "

"The property is clean and beds are very confortable. My only two complains are: 1. the elevator was not working 2. the shower had not hot water at all, so we had to bathe in cold water and the water also pooled up, as the drain did not function properly."

"La ubicación es buena. El personal es amable. Se sirve desayunos (no comida y no cena). La habitación presentó fallas, las reporté y no lo resolvieron. Fuga de agua en el tanque del sanitario, lo que significó un desperdicio de agua de manera contínua por varios días. En la regadera se ven espacios oxidados y mal selladas las tuberías. Con gusto regreso a Mérida y no a ese hotel. "
