A Casa do Lagar is located in Farrobo which lies in the province of São Jorge / Santana, on the north coast of Madeira Island. Situated in a peaceful and solitary area with a pleasant climate all year round, it has a panoramic view of the sea and mountains. The guest house has been furnished in a contemporary style whilst paying particular attention in maintaining a calm and rural feel to the place. Extremely spacious for 8 people. Kitchen is well equipped. All bed linen and towels beautiful and clean. The place is stunning and the views are breath taking. Only downside is that its locality to shops or restaurants , particularly with young children. Also the pool is very cold...even in August. Car is highly recommended. The owner is fantastic. Matériel de cuisine nombreux et d'entretien important ( lave vaisselle, lave linge, grande télévision, four micro onde, four, grand frigo, aspirateur etc... ) Grands espaces de séjour et grandes chambres avec chacune une salle de bain. Tout est spacieux dans cette villégiature y compris la piscine et ses alentours. Endroit parfait pour grande famille avec enfants en toute sécurité. Juste la literie un peu trop 'spartiate' à revoir ( matelas trop durs et dont on ressent les ressors mais oreillers trop mous). En cuisine il manque juste des planches à pain et des sous plats). Dommage que les tables et chaises sont uniquement métalliques et peu confortables mais évidemment faciles à nettoyer. A 30 minutes de l'aéroport, en 1 heure, vous êtes dans tous les endroits de l'île que vous voulez visiter. Voisinage calme. ##### Thierry P.
