Truly a unique getaway experience while staying in what is known as “A Sophisticated Cowboy Town” Santa Ynez. Here you will find the main street resembles an old movie set. Dotted with some of the valley’s best restaurants, charming shops, art, and a museum, you will have plenty to savor from your cozy hideout.

Breath in and relax as you enjoy this 2 bedroom, 1 bath home, with a lovely living space, fully equipped kitchen, and enclosed backyard that has outdoor seating and a BBQ. You can almost see the stagecoach passing under the mature oak trees that are nearby.

Steps Away Cottage has been fully renovated with newer flooring, fixtures, and amenities. Central Heat and A/C
Host pays the 12% TOT Tax, Not the guest!

Park the car and stay awhile while enjoying a walk to morning coffee and a stroll back, meandering through shops and country lanes. You could spend the entire time at your leisure as you experience the refuge of your stay. However, if you so desire, you are only moments away from all the wineries, European moments of Solvang, and wide-open spaces of the Santa Ynez Valley.

- Dog must be crated when not with you

- Dog are not allowed on the furniture

- Please bag any dog waste and dispose of by placing in outdoor waste receptacle

- Please know that you are in the country with wildlife; don't leave your dog outside, unattended. Also, watch small dogs (hawks and owls see them as food). Finally, don’t leave the door open for your dog. If you do, you might find that a rodent has joined you inside the home.

Hats off to the owner for the clean aesthetic design of this home interior. Open concept, very tasteful house with fenced yard which was great for our pups. So many thoughtful details in a very well stocked kitchen. Location is fantastic as you can walk to great restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend!

The house was perfect, roomy and clean. We had planned on bringing our two dogs and it a good thing we didn’t because they are not allowed in the furniture. Everything was perfect and I will stay again next time I am in the area.

The home was in a perfect location! Walking distance to market, restaurants, wine tasting, coffee. Chumash casino is within walking distance too! Beautiful home, beautiful neighborhood, and friendly locals! Haven't been to Santa Ynez in over 10 yrs. Glad we went and hope to return soon!

This property could not have been in a better location! We have always wanted to see what Los Olivos has to offer and we were not disappointed. We were able to take our time and walk to breakfast, wineries and dinner. Quick and easy access to the casino as well. It was a lovely trip, and I would definitely stay here again!
