What I liked was the proximity to the beach for the teens and it was on the ground floor looking into the woods so that I could sit on the back porch and feel I was in the woods...and away from crowds of folks.
One of the cutest decorated condo I've been . Everything was clean. Love the area . Close to everything. We all love it. Service was great . We want to come down again, same condo , felt like home
Loved being on the ground floor…..the owner has definitely put a lot of effort in the decor and upgrades….loved the paint color, light fixtures, pictures, furniture, nice beds and clean white linens also we enjoyed the screened in porch! Nice walk to the beach🏖 also the pool area was very nice!
The property was just as we had hoped for. Beautiful decor, plenty of towels, beds were super comfy and a great kitchen full of extra amenities. Loved having bikes included and the back porch that backs up to the woods was a delightful spot for morning coffee and reading. It was perfect and we would highly recommend and hope to stay again.
Overall this was one of the best experiences we have had with a rental on 30-A. For once everything in the unit worked! My only slight issues were a broken pantry door and the kitchen floors weren't as clean as they should have been upon check-in but other than that it was great.
We loved the location! Having morning coffee on the back porch was the perfect way to start the day. We would definitely stay there again when we visit the area.
The property was very nice and had most of what we needed. The beds were very comfy! We thought it was strange that the management company only supplied one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. In addition, the management company sent a video what we should bring because it would not be furnished which included a hair dryer. Upon arrival to the condo, each bathroom had hair dryers. It would have been nice to know we did not need to bring hair dryers since they take up space in our luggage.
Excellent location from the public beach access. Bikes came in very handy. Rode them everywhere! Only thing we wished we would’ve known is the home didn’t come with beach towels, only bath towels. Very clean, very comfortable, we had 8 total guests and everyone had a bed and slept comfortably. We will definitely be back!! Much love from Texas!!!
This place was perfect for our family beach getaway. Literally just minutes walk (or bike ride!) from the beach, this place was quiet and spacious for us to enjoy during our stay. The Vrbo was so nicely decorated and just as described. Beds we’re super comfortable and the master bath was huge. We appreciated the parking lot for my husband’s big truck and bike racks to store our bikes during our stay. The kitchen does come with pots, pans, plates, etc, but be prepared to bring your own salt/pepper/oil if you plan on doing any cooking. Host was very responsive to emails which was appreciated. Would definitely return again!!
This property could use an update. The furniture is worn out, the carpets are filthy, some of the blinds did not work. The kitchen is poorly stocked-no can opener, no oven mitts, worn out pans. I had planned on baking a cake for a special occasion but there was not a hand mixer in the unit. It would have been nice to have access to beach chairs, which we had while staying in another unit in this building. Hangers would have been helpful too (there were 5 hangers)
The condo was lovely and had everything we needed for our week long stay. The beds were VERY comfortable!
I was surprised to find that there were not any beach chairs (which I had seen in the photo on the back porch). However, I reached out to Ocean Reef, and they responded promptly with suggestions of where to purchase/ rent chairs.
We LOVED the screened in porch and spent our nights out there visiting. Tom Thumb gas and grocery was very helpful to pick up ice for our coolers on the walk to the beach. The public beach was very accessible!
Our only complaint would be the noise in the condo above us. Unfortunately, we could hear much of their movements and even one loud discussion. It definitely impeded our falling asleep and staying asleep.
Otherwise, a wonderful stay at Seagrove Beach! Definitely enjoy the complimentary bikes if you rent- we rode to Seaside and to Publix which were both enjoyable and within a couple miles! And we spent two beautiful dinners at the Old Florida Fish House- do not miss it! 7:30 PM reservations were perfect in July for the sunset photos!!
We really enjoyed Seagrove Highlands and would probably come back! The apartment itself was as pictured, ground level and looked out to the forest. AC was cold and everything was very comfortable. They provide two adult bikes, and then we rented children’s bikes separately, which was a good move. I was glad other reviewers warned that it’s about a half mile to the beach, and then another 200’ across the sand to public access. Doable walk, but tough for littles. They had beach chairs and umbrellas but no beach towels, we brought our own. The property management company only provided a small roll of toilet paper for each bathroom and would not provide extras; when I asked, they stated that they only provided a starter pack of necessities until renters could get to the store. It seemed catered to the majority of people who drive to the beach rather than flying; I don’t have extra room in my carryon for the extra toilet paper, dishwasher pods, and the like that I had to buy on day 2 of my stay, but it also seemed like the property management company would clear out anything extra left by others, they had their branded toilet paper roll on the holder and that was it. For the price, a dishwasher pod for each day of someone’s stay (they did give 3 for a week) and a couple Tide pods, maybe a Kleenex box would have gone a long way. There was also a lot of nonstop stomping around above us, light sleepers beware. We overall had a great stay with those caveats!
The condo location is good and the condo itself was nice. Decor was pretty and modern. There were a few tiles broken in places and the hall bathroom fan was not working.
The problem is the noise. The people staying above this unit played WWF during the hours of 12-3 each night (or something and also walked/ran with led feet). There is obviously insufficient insulation between the floor joist and ceilings. I contacted our property management company, but unfortunately they don't manage the one above and had not control over the noisy neighbors.
The walk to the beach isn't bad. The problem is that once you arrive at the beach you have to walk down the beach a ways to reach public beach area. So if you are lugging a lot of stuff to stay the day, it makes the walk long.
The pool area was rather disappointing. It was much smaller and less "resort-like" than other condo units that we have stayed at on the 30A. It is more like a hotel pool.
Overall our stay was "ok" but I will not be staying here again.
Everything was just like the pictures/listing. They had everything you needed kitchen wear, towels, cleaning supplies but do take your own clothes detergent. Beach was so close and convenient corner store. Only downfall was that the neighbor upstairs banged/ pounded on the floor at 10pm on a Saturday when we were playing music and it wasn’t to loud. Other than that I would definitely rent here again
