The 4th of July crowds were manageable. The Pelicans Nest II was very clean, spacious and very well equipped for all of your cooking and entertaining needs. Location, Location, Location...with the grands the closeness to the beach is a big plus with Restaurantsand shopping all close by. Seaside is always fun too.

First Family Vacation
We are a family originally from south Louisiana but have since moved to different parts of the country. This was our first time going on a family vacation and it could not have been better. There were 7 adults and 2 toddlers and the house accommodated everybody perfectly. While at the house, the adults spent alot of time sitting out on the screened in porches, while the kids played in the yard. The beach was a short walk and the golf cart we rented was our means of transportation whether it was to seaside, the grocery store or to any of the wonderful restaurants in the area. The quiet neighborhood also had 2 pools which were great for the toddlers when they didn't want to go on the beach. We could not have asked for a better place to stay for our first family vacation. We laughed until we hurt and made memories we will never forget. We highly recommend the Pelicans Nest II and we will definitely be back.
We had a wonderful family getaway at this property and would happily stay again. The location is fantastic — close enough to walk to the beach, but tucked into a quiet neighborhood away from the busier tourist areas, which made it feel like a real retreat. Great value for what you get, and the peaceful surroundings were perfect for relaxing with the family. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a laid-back beach escape without the crowds. Thanks for being such a great host!

Great accommodations! Everything we needed, plus. Very well maintained property inside and out. Weather changed daily but very much enjoyed the front porch and side patio!
