Gulf Place Cabanas 205 - Located in Santa Rosa Beach, Gulf Place Cabanas 205 is a great spot for a romantic getaway or family fun. This one-bedroom vacation rental can sleep up to six guests and is located across from private beach access. After a day in the sun, you'll love cooling off in the two unique swimming pools available in this enclave. The first has a lagoon vibe with lush fauna shading the pool. The other is built for entertaining with a grand patio and large bathrooms. Additional amenities here include a shuffleboard and tennis court. Inside you'll enjoy the open living space with wide areas to entertain, a great kitchen, and a dining nook looking out a wall of sliding glass doors that let the sunshine in. The second floor includes a giant porch, perfect for chilling out. Kick back in some of the outdoor furniture, and glance out over the pools onto the gulf waters. Maybe even enjoy some drinks and dine alfresco! There is a fresh beach feel throughout, punctuated with paintings and sculptures of marine life and nautical themes. The sleeper sofa in the living room is comfy and inviting and sits across from a large TV, between two big, soft armchairs. You'll have lots of room to spread out and watch movies or plan your next beach day. Love to cook? This kitchen was made for the party chef in you. Bake a bird or sizzle up some seafood, with countertops at the ready to prep and present your masterpiece. Making your way into the bedroom, you'll be greeted by bright beachy goodness. The room is the color of the gulf's lightest hues, and the cottage presentation vibes well with the rest of the place. In addition to the great view, you'll love the private bath, with a great tub-shower combo. There's a second half bath in the hallway next to built-in bunks for the child in all of us. Situated in the heart of Gulf Place on Scenic 30A, this Santa Rosa Beach locale puts you near some of the town's best beach bars and eateries. They include Shelby's Beach Bar and Grill, Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar, the Growler Garage, the Perfect Pig, and Pizza by the Sea. It's a very walkable area with shops and a performing arts amphitheater that hosts outdoor music and festivals throughout the year. This location is equidistant from Seaside and Sandestin, just a short ride from everything around. It might just be the perfect place on 30A, but we will let you be the judge of that, so come and stay! It was incredible! I stayed at Gulf Place Cabanas 205\. It was the perfect location, and size for just myself. My only comment, which is not related at all to my condo, is be sure to get to the beach very early to “stake your claim,” because the chair/umbrella rental people set up and take up a lot of the limited beach are designated for Gulf Place Cabanas. I would gladly rent the same unit my next trip back! ##### Debbie A. The shower liner was ripped and barely hanging and the shower curtain was extremely nasty at the bottom. The two bathroom sinks were ridiculously slow. There was no hot water in either bathroom or the kitchen. The unit was nicely stocked with dishes, cookware and everything you could possibly need. The king size bed was very comfortable. Rules need to be enforced. The was ALOT of drinking going on by the pool even though there were kids everywhere. There were people still at the pool after hours. # 204 had very young people smoking on their balcony and I know it was weed or a THC vape. They also had a dog which I didn't think was allowed. The biggest complaint was about the pond. It had the most disgusting order that would smell up our apt. if we wanted to leave the balcony doors open. When you were in the pool the stink would be so bad that we'd have to leave the pool. I was extremely happy with Ocean Reef except that they didn't handle my complaint about shower liner. The kitchen was well stocked and we really enjoyed having deeded beach access right across the street. The dresser drawers in the master bedroom were off track and kept falling out. With all that being said, we will sadly never rent this particular unit again because there is no sound barrier from the flooring upstairs…there was a family with three small kids above us and you could hear every step they took. The kids were running back and forth for hours and at times it sounded like furniture was being dragged across the floor. It was so loud at times it shook the chandelier over the kitchen table. I don’t think it would have done any good to have said anything because you could also hear every step the adults were taking.
