We had a great stay here. The location is perfect, a quiet, safe neighborhood only a short walk or bike ride to town or the beach. The golf cart was awesome! We took that to multiple beaches. Very clean and spacious for my family of 5\. We enjoyed having the golf cart to take to the beach which was very close less than 10 minutes away. Overall we had a wonderful experience and we were impressed with the property and location. We will definitely come back. I didn’t notice it pictures, so I would like to point out that there is a firepit in the backyard with two nice porch swings. The neighborhood is quiet with a very nice community swimming pool. The drive into town is maybe 6-7 minutes on the provided golf cart. Management was responsive and accommodate our needs. This home has a well stocked kitchen, coffee bar, quality mattresses & pillows, and plenty of linens. It felt like staying at a 5 star resort, but much more spacious and quiet. Responses and communication with property management company was easy using the message system. They were prompt, and seemed genuine in making our stay the best it could be. The only issues we encountered were some minor housekeeping items, as well as wanting a few more kitchen items to make our stay a little more convenient. Other than that, the beautiful pool, and the use of the bikes and the 6-seater golf cart getting to and from the beach, made our stay really fun for all ages. ##### Heather W. Stayed 7 nights in Jun 2023 Verified ### 4/10 Poor #### Stephanie H. 19 Oct 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy Disliked: Communication Location & house were great!The reason for the low score is for lack of cust service with the mgmt company, BeachWalk Vacations.We utilize a GC every time we vacay on 30A & know exactly how far we can go/take same routes so that we don’t run out of battery life.The GC was charged prior to checking in Sat & stayed plugged in till we took it out Sun afternoon.We got stranded on 30A during a busy time for traffic!Luckily, 2 men pulled over to help my husband push the GC onto the side of the road in the sand/dirt.We called cust service (which was before the end of business hrs) & there was ZERO concern for our safety or attempt to really help us.We were treated as if it was our fault and told we shouldve charged it over night (which we did!).The GC didn’t hold its charge as it should’ve.We were told we needed to find our own way back to the rental home via an Uber, etc.They wouldn't help us with this (nor reimburse us for the Uber).They stated they would have it towed back to the house.We’ve never used Uber & the location we was stuck in had a lot of trees which caused our phones to have poor reception.It was difficult to download the Uber app just to get us back to the house approx 5 miles away.We hadn’t been to the house 15 min and cust service called telling us the GC had been charged & we had to go pick it up!!There was 1 bar of battery life, we only got 1 mile further and stuck AGAIN! Also, no info provided that a fob was needed for pool so didn’t get to use it. ##### Stephanie H. Unfortunately, two weeks before our trip, I stumbled across a note from the HOA (not from VRBO or the Beachwalk Property management company) that the neighborhood pool would be closed into May. I reached out to Beachwalk (the property mgt company for this listing), and they offered a simple apology, not anything more. I asked for an alternative pool or to consider canceling reservation. They eventually found a pool we could use during our Spring Break Trip, and it was very disappointing: small, old, not clean, rusty. I again reached out to Beachwalk and asked for resolution....pretty much crickets or empty promises to get back with me. I had hoped to speak directly with homeowners so that they could hear this disappointment and make this right before my review but nothing. This property is nice but not worth the price without the pool amenity. I am most disappointed that the price we paid was for a listing with a pool which was not delivered. For some pros, the property overall is very well kept and clean; a nice size for family hangout. Santa Rosa community does have some nice restaurants, but you will have some car time to get to the beach, other restaurants and activities. Three bikes are included....not sure what the logic is here since the property sleeps six and that this area of Florida is geared towards families. A golf cart was on site. Lots of confusion with this as well. Initially, Beachwalk said it would cost an additional $75/day; but then on our second to last day, randomly one of their agents alluded to this being "included" and the wording on the property changed for how this works. So, I would definitely recommend clarifying if it is included or an additional fee. This property does not offer beach towels, and the intro makes that clear. It is odd. Traveling by airplane and trying to make room in suitcases for beach towels (didn't happen) so then having to buy beach towels for the week seemed like a hassle. I would recommend having six beach towels available for your guests. Add a line in to charge a fee if not returned. This property had the potential to be a 5 star----if only our disappointment over the pool would have been followed up on with a reasonable resolution. Unfortunately, Beachwalk's knowledge of the property's actual amenities and then lack of proactive communication with guests to resolve issues was sub-par. ##### Lisa F.
