Seaside, Fl 2 King beds, 2 bunk beds Welcome to “Mellow Yellow”, a grand corner home tucked away on Savannah Street and only steps from the Savannah Pavilion Seaside private beach access! This lovely cottage lives large with its grand outdoor porches and true southern charm! You’ll know that you’ve arrived when you see the oversized screened porches, wrapping around the entire home. As you enter the first-story screened-in porch you are welcomed by various Adirondack seating, rocking chairs, and a bench swing. This downstairs porch easily provides seating for 10 or more. This fantastic porch is perfect for morning coffee, a rainy-day refuge, or an afternoon book break. Inside is the sought-after open floor plan with adjacent living, dining, and an open renovated kitchen area. The living area provides plenty of comfortable seating, such as a sofa, large chairs, and a large-mounted Smart TV and Sonos sound bar - ideal for a game or family movie night. The adjacent dining room has a rustic long wooden dining table that comfortably seats 10 just off the kitchen and the kitchen island bar. The center kitchen island has a breakfast bar seating two more and is the home's central hub. The kitchen has glass tile and all modern stainless-steel appliances, making it an easy setup for family meals at home. There are multiple porch access points off the living and kitchen areas. There is a full bathroom with a shower only on the first floor for guest use and a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. As you enter the second story, you will find a full bath to the right, across from the custom-built in bunk room that sleeps 4\. This functional bunk room leads to balcony access, perfect for morning coffee or evening wine. The second bedroom upstairs is the massive and luxurious king primary suite with a white pencil post bed, a walk-in closet, French doors that lead to the porch, and a recently renovated primary bath. The all-marble bath features a double vanity sink and a glass-enclosed walk-in marble with a rain shower. Across from the king primary suite is another one! The third bedroom is another king with an ensuite bathroom. This king has a closet, a full bath with a double vanity sink, and a shower/tub combo. Weirdly master connects to guest house room only by glass French door and curtain. Should have lock on both sides of doors not just one side. Bunk space was ok. No grill is deal breaker for us for future renting because we love to grill out. Owners junk was piled in back of house in plain view including rusting golf cart and grill for them. House needed some repairs including missing disposal safety gasket, broken faucet in bathroom and unsafe hammock mounts which caused it to fall while 105 pound daughter sitting in it. These things were mostly repaired quickly with call to manager. House still needs a good bit of minor maintenance attention. Then we were asked to allow someone to drop off things for owner’s stay in two weeks...another minor inconvenience. Overall, house is beautiful, great location, porches are great, manager is very responsive but house needs a quite a few minor maintenance issues. ##### Michelle T. After spending $14,000 my wife asked for an extra 2 days at 900 and you said ok. Then because of the upcoming weather and my unrelenting pain from falling off my bike we decided we needed to go home as originally planned but you guys refused to give us our money back. Because of that and the constant construction noise which you guys were aware of and never told us we will not be using your services again. The British guy who fixed our TV was fantastic. Convenient short drive to a large grocery store and restaurants. The 2 large bedrooms with private bathrooms were perfect for 2 couples and the small bedroom was fine for 2 small ones. Reviewer Comments: The location of Mellow Yellow is hard to beat! So close to the beach and to the Square. The outdoor shower was convenient and a great way to keep the sand out of the house. The wrap around porches add a wonderful space to relax after a day at the beach. The kitchen was very well stocked, lots of pots, pans, cookie sheets, pyrex and storage containers. Kitchen with a large table was exactly what we needed. The only issue we had was the one key and no keyless entry. It made it impossible to keep the house locked with 6 guests and only one key.
