"Very beautiful property and nicely decorated rooms that were welcoming and relaxing. Staff were very professional and also very helpful. Nice outdoor space to enjoy a relaxing coffee in the morning or glass of wine in the evening. Also great restuarant that had a tradional menu in addition to great grilled options. The grilled lamb was excellent. Atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. Highly recommened."

"forth they sent us clear instructions which was really helpful. The room is big with high ceilings and nicely presented. Bed was a little squeaky but comfortable and we slept well. They have a mini-fridge stocked with water bottles and breakfast in the morning. Coffee was quite good. A few notes for future guests, especially in summer (late September): it was quite warm in the room and we couldn't get the fan to work, and there were four flights of stairs to go up with luggage and our stroller. Breakfast is a light Italian breakfast of coffee and a croissant, which is totally normal here, but my wife would have loved a little more variety like fruit, cheese or something with a bit of protein. Unfortunately we arrived too late to try the restaurant this time, which looked delightful."

"This was the idyllic family holiday. A huge villa set on the Tuscany/Umbria border with 4 clear apartments meaning that our children and grandchildren could decamp to their own space with their own kitchens. The villa was magical for the children because there seemed to be hidden staircases and spaces so they spent two weeks exploring . The grounds and gardens were the same- always coming across hidden hammocks & terraces. There was always space for me to hide and get some space to myself (four children & ten grandchildren make a lot of noise!) the large communal kitchen & dining room was our meeting point and had a stunning Tuscan view of Chiusi and every night the most incredible sunset. The pool was probably my favourite feature- huge, well kept, plenty of shades & beds, shower, nearby playground & covered eating area tucked into the olive grove . Maria was amazing, popping in to set up and set down the pool area each day, lots of advice for towns to visit and bringing her adorable puppy for our grandchildren to go wild over. So in summary was the villa perfect? In one sense no- it’s an older house meaning some of the kitchen equipment was past its best etc. However in another sense yes this Villa was perfect- the sheer scale of beautiful places to sit and eat, the stunning views from various angles, the quiet hidey holes . The photos do NOT give this place justice, and the ability to draw so much pleasure for so many folk from one amazing property was perfection."

The owners go out of their way to help you anyway they can and cook delicious breakfast and serve it on the terrace where you can enjoy the scenery more. It was the perfect place to slow down and relax in between touring big cities in Italy. My husband and I both agree that next trip we will plan a longer stay in Chiusi and stay here again."
