"Our family of three had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful property. The location was excellent, just a ten minute walk uphill into the center of charming Cortona, with lots of great restaurants and shops. There are beautiful views from the home over the valley below and of the nearby church. We loved the pool and eating at the outdoor covered patio. The inside was cozy and rustic, and we slept comfortably with the bedroom A/C units. The property owner, Teresa, was very friendly and welcoming and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. She greeted us upon our arrival and gave us our keys, and also met us at the gate to say goodbye at the end of our stay. She and her husband stayed in a small cottage on the far side of the property that we couldn’t even see, and not upstairs in their usual home like I expected, so it felt like we had the place all to ourselves and it was very private and quiet. They have a sweet cat named Cherie who roams the property and we got to pet a couple times. Everything was fabulous, and my only complaint was one that likely can’t be helped, and that’s mosquitos, likely due to recent rains followed by hot temps. Make sure to bring bug spray and cover yourself in it each day and you should be fine. We would love to come back someday! Grazie to Teresa for a fabulous vacation!"

"This is a beautiful old Tuscan Villa. We had a large group of ten adults and a baby, the layout of the home was perfect. All bedrooms are large and four had en-suite bathrooms, only two had to share a bathroom. There are three living room areas, so plenty of room for privacy if you want. There are lots of patio/sitting areas out side too for sun/shade and meals al fresco and spectacular views. Our visit was when it was exceptionally hot (100 F), the house stayed amazingly cool if shutters kept closed during the day and opened up at night. We all enjoyed the pool to cool off too. We had an amazing week here and such good memories of the house, it is great for a large family or several couples. I would recommend at least one vehicle for grocery store runs etc."

"What a fabulous stay!A beautiful traditional Italian house with a lovely courtyard garden. The house is full of interesting traditional furniture, lots of space and a well equipped kitchen. All good sized bedrooms - with amazing views from one in particular.Two bathrooms - the larger one being on the ground floor (and very pink!) We stayed early June and the courtyard garden’s roses were in full bloom. Perfect for breakfast and an aperitif- also a sun trap in the afternoon.Located in a quiet street 10 minute walk from all the action in town. Also Perfectly located to walk to the top of the town and fort.Some reviews mention the hills - it is and Italian hill town so not a surprise!Tip; We used Taxi Cortona to collect us from the airport so they could drive within the city and drop us a few metres from the door - rather than lugging cases up the hills (yep it is hilly)Cortona is a fabulous place and we would recommend staying in this lovely house.We shall return."
