"This was an amazing stay! I would recommend this hotel without reservation! This is largely because of the amazing staff, from the front desk staff, the spa staff (I had an awesome massage and body treatment), to the waitstaff and the xleaning staff! I truly hope the hotel takes care of its employees, because they deserve it! The staff took care of every need with a smile, which is not easy given the difficult jobs they hold! "

"Overall, the hotel is ok. The rooms were clean. The food was average. The coffee was bad. The front desk staff were good. The cabanas were good. The pool is good, but closes early. The hotel has no beach. All the activity, including beach, restaurants and shops are in the centre of Santa Maria, about a 20 minute walk. But biggest problem for me was that for every purchase at the restaurant or bar I have to pay each time, with cash or credit card. I would be happy to prepay or pay for the charges...

"This hotel was clean and everything cleaned daily in room. The staff were fantastic,so friendly and helpful with everything you needed. The hotel had a sister hotel 5/10 mins away which had a lovely pool plus you could use their sunbeds on beach very near. The hotel was a 5/10 min walk into Santa Maria plus some restaurants really close by. We would highly recommend the Sobradi and it’s not overpriced. We left yesterday. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and set us up for the day "

"Should not be 5 star. The food was fine, pretty much same standard AI as you normally get. The pool is huge and very lovely if you are quick enough in the morning to get a sunbed. The rooms need updating, comfy bed but old, cheap furniture not 5 star quality. We went into town 5 nights out of our 7, it takes about 15 mins to walk and we did it during the day and after dark no problem at all. Taxi option is also very easy. "Not impressed with the room, or the style of seperate houses. We stayed at Melia Unas for 5 days their set was better, paths of tiles not gravel. I asked for a hairdryer it never came. Food was good and all the staff very helpful and pleasent. "
