"Andy and the staff were amazing. So helpful and informative on booking. We had a 4 hour trip to attend a wedding and they accommodated our request for an early check in without any hesitation.
Clean and modern room. Free tea and coffee, even a goody bag of sweets snacks and crisps which was an unexpected lovely gesture."
"A lovely hotel, that goes all-in with the railway theme. Although it is a pub-hotel, it has been recently refurbished, with all-electronic access, so nobody can get to the bedroom area unless they are staying there.
Half-price food in the pub on Mondays was a pleasant surprise, and the friendly - if slightly quirky - staff were a joy to interact with.
The room was comfortable, and the family room we stayed in had a separate bunk-bed area for the child, each bunk having its own light.
Parking-wise, you can choose from the station car park, a one-minute walk away, or the free on-street parking on the station one-way system (Only free between 6pm and 9am)

"Despite serving at the bar and checking guests in, the service and attention to detail was spot on. No trouble parking, check in simple and our room was outstanding. The only downside was that there was no chef so no breakfast but that wouldn’t stop us from going back again. "
